I was in Iceland for an 8 day tour this past June. Had a great time.
Some say the food is expensive. It was all delicious, I don't think they know how to make bad food.
At Möðrudalur/Fjalladýrð I had Reindeer for super. Very unique menu there.
And of course Reykjavik had everything.

As a Kentuckian, coming from horse country (thorobred capital of the world), it seems so wrong to eat horse meat. But as an adventurous eater, I’d definitely try it!

What is the name of the appetizer bar restaurant? I watched a video on Apple TV and now I’m looking on my phone at the video to try to find a link, but cannot. Thanks.

@@ReggieWhit I did not see that but I did hear her say “appetizer bar” quite a few times and when I googled that in Reykjavík, it came up with nothing. Didn’t realize I had to convert that to Icelandic in order to find the restaurant.

  • @sky034

Dear Doc. Please do this as soon as possible , obtain your records from medical school and have them “apostle “ to Iceland. Apostle means legal documents that are Not tampered with or altered. Then get them “translated in the Iceland language “, you can do this through the embassy of Iceland. If you have any documents of medical resident work or work, please obtain those as well. Most countries need documentation of five years in practice before practicing in their country. Immigration attorney will help. Once this is done , you can show them to the medical Board of Iceland or legal branch needed. Have family members to do the legwork in America and have them sent to you , but remember they need to be Apostle by “the secretary of state “ from the original state in which they were obtained. Then Translate them to the native language of Iceland.
