A typical working week vlog | Oxford University student year abroad

This week I show you a bit of what my life is like working as a customer services and commercial sales assistant for a luxury chocolate brand. This is the part of my year abroad where I wanted to try something a bit different and it has certainly been an experience so far.

Just watched a few of your older videos and may I just say that those about the academic studies and experiences are really interesting and useful, and the others are also enjoyable to watch. Maybe you will be a teacher in the future…your students will like you, as you make things sound interesting. (As an anonymous follower of a youtube channel one always feels so entitled to write all sorts of things, so - sorry about that.)

Thank you! The year abroad is part of all Modern Languages courses at Oxford but cannot be added to any others.

But do you know if other courses have the option of doing a year in industry, and could you do that year abroad?

No! At Oxford, there is unfortunately no option to do a year in industry
