When I click "Audio In" I can't hear any sound. The top right volume meter on Serum FX is showing that it's playing sound but I don't hear anything. Any help on what's going wrong?
add a midi out to your channel rack, set the midi port to any un-used port number, go into serum fx and go into the wrapper settings (vst settings) and set the midi in, in serum fx to the same number you chose in the midi out on the channel rack. and for it to work when you're using midi make sure you have notes playing in the midi out channel and the instrument with serum fx

the note latch function just plays a single note not sure how to get my serumfx to work correctly with the midi chords
its weird its like the midi correctly works with oscillators on serum fx until i add a real instrument rack or group the serum fx.... not sure why its so busted anyone able to help?

figured it out.. you need to setup a separate midi channel that sends the midi to the serumfx midi channel. this allows you to have chords that actually trigger serumfx, and you can have another midi pattern on the same channel to play your sample with different pitches ontop of the chords @@icylemon2003

every colour bass tutorial ever where they literally just put pitchmap or whatever on something and act like that's the only plugin you need ever in your entire life and you totally don't need to already have a good input sound and other processing and stuff
well yeah, that's called mixing
I don't think he's trying to act like you don't need any other plug-ins I think you're just mad that it requires more effort than you want to put in
