I agree it is the Best looking Plate out there. I would ask if after mounting the Plate, you take it off and see if you have paint gone on the Frame down tube and the lower water pump tube. My plate was not easy at all to mount! the worst part was after I took it back off... Never even rode the bike and now all scratched up. What dose your bike look like after removing the Plate?
I had it off once to change the oil. I didn't notice any paint damage, but I wasn't looking for that either. As far as fitment, I do have to push up a bit with a small automotive scissor jack to get the forward screws to line up. I'm hoping that will calm down after a while? I still think I chose the right skid plate.
Why manufacturers can't make a decent Euro 5 plate is beyond me. Only one worthwhile is the outback motortek version as it doesn't require you to keep the worst part of the new Tenere's, the cat guard. And if you decide to go catless, which all Euro 5 tenere owners should, you end up with an unnecessarily exposed pipe.
100% agree they could’ve easily bumped out that little section to cover that God ugly stock CAT guard. I bought a 2023 and purchased the Euro 4 gut guard from Camel ADV knowing I was going to get rid of the CAT. It’s a great looking skid plate. Just get rid of the CAT and fill in that little piece.
Looks good! That's some good insurance!
Thanks, I've been happy with it, and the price was reasonable.
I think you’re right! That very well may be the best skid plate!!!!
I hope you're right, Rebecca.

Yep, I get it. I may end up putting a full system on, then I'll have a big hole there. Thanks for commenting 👍

@davehartsock9106 The CAT has got to go...
Wow..now that is a way to ugly up your bike, I'ld like it in black better , maybe throw some mud on it lol. Nice T7 tho .
I like the black idea too, that would look way better.
