Absolutely great. Steve Ritchie was my hero in high school (see the book "And Kill Migs"), I'm a retired AF Colonel, and nothing has changed...this guy and his wife are MOTIVATING!
I actually met Brig. Gen. R. Steve Ritchie at the Little Rock AFB Open House in October 1998. I had my picture taken with him.
I was a Sergeant at Udorn in 1972 when Capt Richie was shooting Migs out of the sky. I was an Aircraft Electrician in 432nd FMS Electric Shop supporting Triple Nickel and other squadrons.. The General is right. It takes teamwork to get the job done. An aircraft was either landing or taking off about every 55 seconds. To say it was busy is an understatement.
Ted Johansen my late husband was in the Triple Nickel . He flew F4 fighters. He got shot down and was in a tiger cage for 24 months. He ended up a col and retired. I was 19 yrs younger . He passed away in may 2003. His last name was Bat Masterson.
How to succeed in anything from 9:42 up to 10:15 !! THANK YOU
