Actually there are songs. On the HBO recent documentary, members of his group Gemini, played the songs they made back than. The group member said WW never made them feel uncomfortable and he never got vibes that Wayne was a pervert. So the group was something WW was really doing. He actually owned his own radio station and had his own recording equipment in his house. He did rent out time in a recording studio as well.

@@OldskolFan yeah i don't want to diss his attorney because she had little money... but one lawyer made a point of having a dead 160 pound animal in the court with a barrier the same height as the bridge and for them to show how difficult it would be for him to drag a body out of the car and toss it off a bridge. but anyone with just a little bit of sense should realize there should have been a lot of evidence in the car and on his person if he just disposed of a body less than 5 minutes before being stopped.

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever

When I was a kid, there was a guy in the neighborhood who lured me and my friend to his house for candy and cupcakes. Being 7 years old, of course, we fell for it. We both went to his house, but he told us to come back later because his wife was there. Um...ok. But we never went back. We were disappointed little brats, upset about the candy and all, but as we got older, we realized that SOB was most likely a pedophile. He would always be outside walking his brown Doberman, but once the dog died, we never saw the man again. He never came out of the house. Thank goodness his wife was there that day. No telling what would've happened to us.

It had to be someone who blended in well with in the surroundings who wouldn't stick out, a black person aka Wayne Williams. My grandmother is from Atlanta and said even during that time she believed the killer was a black man when she would tell me and my brothers these stories. When my dad was a kid, she forbade him and his siblings from playing no further than the front porch so she can keep an eye on them until the day Wayne was caught.

My analysis on why Wayne Williams is a good candidate for these crimes:- it was rage and hate at not being accepted or attractive and seemingly he expected certain privileges through being light-skinned which did not happen. It was rage against other blacks who he considered beneath him based on the same thing ie drop shots, to be gotten rid of, a shameful thing to him as a light skinned black man. It was his unsuccessful attempt to fit in or be popular or famous. It was his latent homosexuality which caused him to relate to these young black boys in an unhealthy and envious and deviant way which resulted in a rage killing without sexual assault. He chose boys due to his denial of his own sexuality and then his shame and rage caused the murders which continued due to his continuing feelings of inadequacy. His older parents were unable to act as the support he needed and he was virtually left on his own, much as Jeffrey Dahmer was. It allowed for his deviance and internal war to swirl unabated until he acted out. Wayne Williams is the correct person for these crimes and he should remain behind bars!

Just because he claimed he’s innocent for so long doesn’t mean a thing. Charles Manson said he didn’t tell his followers a race war was coming nor tell them to kill anyone till the day he died. There was strong physical evidence and he was seen on a bridge at the same time a loud splash was heard a half mile away from where the final victim was found. The KKK was throughly investigated during the murders independently from the Atlanta Police Dept. and came up with little. While other predators may have been responsible from other murders, I find it hard to believe they would suddenly stop killing forever once Williams was arrested

What you need to be pissed about is after his conviction of killing two ADULT men, the case on the children was closed, evidence destroyed and shit used that never should have been allowed in the first place given how unreliable it was back then. that is like saying in the 70s, 80s and even into the 90s that if a woman says she was raped she's lying because they don't have DNA, never mind there was no DNA used, rape kits were not handled properly and were not reliable or even used a common procedure, so your argument is circular and you sound like a fucking millennial. Prosecutors throughout metro-Atlanta felt that was enough.

Over the years, families of some of the victims have expressed disappointment. It dogged former Fulton County District Attorney Lewis Slayton all the way up to the day of his retirement.
“What about the critics that say the case was never really solved?” Slayton was asked in 1996.

It's clear Williams is guilty on. this evidence alone after is arrest the killings ceased, but more than that a killer like this would not allow someone else to get credit for his work. I know thats a strong description but it's true serial killers are often protective of their legacy, their is some sick sense authorship over the crimes. He would have at least sent a letter maybe even proof like a piece of clothing explains that he was still out there, with the many children he killed the killer was extremely crafty, intelligent and most assuredly a narcissist. Even if and it's a big if, if the killer allowed Williams to take the fall and he moved on elsewhere after what he got away with his ego would be so inflated, he would feel invincible he would act like i, another town or city would've noticed black children going missing almost and bodies being found frequently almost immediately after. Pointing to Williams innocent and clearly that didn't happen no killer gets away with this and just stops killing after 28 especially with high success rate of evading capture, sadly the only thing I can say is that sometimes killers do in fact realise they've caused a stir in an area and move on somewhere else and their crimes either are not as frequent or evade detection altogether. It's believed by many the Jack the Ripper either died possibly unexpectedly or moved on elsewhere where his crimes where not detected. In this case I believe Williams is guilty and they got their man I really would find it hard to believe after killing so many a Serial Killer would not claim responsibility either with another body or some communication with law enforcement, or he had decided to move as I said somewhere in the US would have noticed a increase in missing black kids and child murders. So sad all those poor kids and their parents no parent should have to go through that and feel that body cares for long enough.

You raise really good points. I did think of one possibility, despite all that.
What if, by some circumstance, Williams wasn't the real killer, but the real killer died (or became disabled, or went to jail for something else) right when Williams did? Hell, maybe the real killer was injured or killed by a would-be victim fighting back. Or someone else discovering the killer and enacting vigilante justice.
I just like thinking up ways that something COULD happen, though. What I suggested isn't that likely, especially given how many victims there were in such a short time.
I don't know enough yet to have an opinion on Williams' guilt or innocence. I'm probably going to do a deep dive into the case soon. It's so sad.
