After 110 days at sea, we can't believe this adventure is over... What was your favourite part of the Series?
Thanks so much for joining us! Big love, Strick & Fran
Whats next?
Favorite parts: Hanging with you two; your marine biological journey you guys take us on; and, Fran’s imagination in the B2B Kitchen. You two are such a great couple and hosts to your series. Can’t wait for the next one.
Are you kidding me? There are too many favorite parts to choose from.
Fran you are an ANGEL...
Strick don't ever forget, you are along for the ride like the rest of us.
It was all so great!
I want more! I’ve (we) have enjoyed watching you both. I’ve learned so much about your adventures. Please don’t end this.
This is how I take a vacation without having to take a vacation.
Couldn’t of said it any better
Makes me need that vacay
😅 thanks for coming along mate
You mean getting to take a vacation
So happy Strick didn’t help Fran but encouraged her and she caught that monster crab!!!
Probably on croc watch also! 😉 Rather lose a crab than a leg or worse! But Fran did well, claws the size of her head lol
@@pompeymikTrue… 😬 They’re brave. Sometimes he’s pushing his luck though. The time he jumped in the water at Lizard Iskand to check out the resident Croc. I could hardly watch that, it’s just a very silly risk…. And also sleeping in tent when there are crocs on the island, they venture up steep hills even to get to their nesting olace, resting areas. It’s incredible. They’re nit just found on mudbanks, beaches…
That actually surprised me, to see so many big crocs out on the islands. Not sure what u think about that to be honest.l.
Congratulations Fran for the first Mudcrab hunting and Thank you Strick and Fran for this fantastic trip with you all these weeks. Greetings from Germany from the Famous Black Forest.
Wow Strick… she has looks, brains, she cooks and she is a first rate mudcrab wrangler! What a lucky guy!
Thanks for taking us along with you guys! It has been a pleasure!!
Ahhaha thanks Kelly ❤️
OMG!!! How long are we going to go thru withdrawals waiting for what is next? Sunday (Saturday) won't be the same..... my favorite part of this journey has been the wildlife and seeing Fran really come into her own. Love that lady and happy she looks happy with that crazy Jack.....
New adventures on the way 😉
Good on you guys, it's fantastic to watch both you beautiful people enjoying each other and what life is all about, freedom and the great unknown. Never take it for granted and hold onto every minute of what you're experiencing together.
About 15 years ago, I was lucky enough to pack everything up put my two young kids in the car and set off on a 3 year trip caravaning around this beautiful country of ours. There are no words for the experience, unless you've done it is impossible to explain all the wonders of this country. Absolute amazing...
Hold on to and remember as much as you can, never forget and if possible never stop your adventure. A few cyclones got in our way too, they were quite the experience.
My trips have finished for now as the kids get older, both at uni, and I wont get the chance to do long trips again until retirement.
It's fantastic watching both of you living and loving life together the best way possible. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful footage and your journey.
Jack, your words at the end of this experience are spot on, it would resonate with anyone who has had a similar experience. Hold onto it all and be grateful as you guys have it all sorted... The more you risk by stepping outside the box the more you gain in all aspects of life.
I would also like to just say thankyou for the massive effort that goes into making these videos. Having a background in film and video production i know exactly how much effort goes into it. Its one thing to go on the trip of a lifetime its another thing to film and edit the experience. Not only are you out in the middle of nowhere living and surviving together you are also working together seemlessly. Its a beautiful thing to watch from this side of the television.
Keep loving life.
Cheers
This channel always blows me away. Between the wildlife, the scenery and the history of Australia's indigenous people, there's none better.
Edinburgh, Scotland.
hi
@@catchemallfishingwildgirl hi there 👋🏼
Uhm what about William Wallace and the history of Scotland too!
Fran, every beautiful Italian woman I've ever met had one hell of a temper. Yet you seem to be in such a great mood all the time.
Happy people are so much better to go on adventures with. 4 months! Wow guys. Thank you for bring us along
Wow, what an ending. The mud crab was incredible, huge, scary. The typhoon was completely unexpected. THANK YOU FOR TAKING US ALONG !
So glad y’all are alright. I’m bummed that I can’t enjoy more of your adventures albeit vicariously. That scene of y’all sitting in the surf was so sweet. Wishing you and Fran the very best.
A sad day for many of us.
But thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Too bad it was just a trip, and not really a way of life.
I'm sure I speak for many, when I say I learned a few things about the sea. And I enjoyed seeing such natural beauty.
The sea is always so full of life.
Good luck to you Strick and always to the lovely Fran. I hope adventure will always be a part of your lives.
Another beautiful video of this adorable couple. I love them!!!
I enjoyed watching your videos and the beautiful underwater views. I scuba dove for over 30 years and started back up again at age 67. The past year I was able to see places I could only dream about through you two people. I hope you do another adventure so in my mind I can travel with you. Best of luck in your next adventure. Fran is a keeper, if you two can live together for over 100 days on a boat and are still happy together, that should tell you something. ❤ Don’t let that one get away.
You guys always use a scale of 1 to 5 but I'm giving Fran a 10 out of 5! She is amazing for so many reasons that a 5 just doesn't do her justice.
Nice catch of the mud crab Fran! Blessings and much love always you two!!! 🙏❤
Strick & Fran - this was such an amazing 100+ days you allowed us to tag along for. Your inspiration is big part of getting me to travel to AUS this fall. I love your messages encouraging everyone to get out there and experience life. Can’t wait for the next adventure- you 2 have the best series going, regardless of network, and even You Tube seems a small format for what you 2 share with the world. Cheers until the next.
Well done Fran. I'm a 58 year old bloke that lived in the Kimberley for 15 years and I still won't grab a muddie by hand. Bloody scary things with those killer claws! I'd grab a croc before a muddie.
You guys gotta keep uploading, I’m so depressed and your episodes make me feel so happy😭😭
Guys Cyclone Jasper was December last year, I am sure they have more adventures coming next week. Thanks Stick and Fran, love your work
Fran trying to catch the crab and strick telling her its all her NOW THATS THE MOMENT!!amazing upload 🎉
Best series I’ve ever seen on CZcams!! Netflix needs to hire the 2 of you for a series!
Fran's turtle impression was priceless! You guys make my day!
Yes, keep my gorgeous princess mermaid out of danger. Congrats in that battle with the crab, but the dinner made it worth it. Also the one with the Pipis was spectacular. Rest, and gives us another dream trip. Love, from Antigua Guatemala, OsoYolo.
Strick and Fran. I loved this 4 months trip living off the land and off the ocean. Lets do another one...
So happy that your both OK, I can't put into words how much I've enjoyed your videos.
Thank you to both of you showing us how beautiful under water, islands and beaches are coast of Australia and how lucky we are having the most incredible planet in our solar system like ours. Wishing you the best of luck , thank you again.
The only youtube channel I ever waited for and watched every week ... Will miss the adventures ...

I can’t wait for a years time when I can binge watch this whole series again 👌
This has been a most enjoyable series to watch. The enthusiasm you both have for exploring and living from the land and sea is admirable. It’s been fascinating watching Fran with the cook ups, they all look so tasty. Looking forward to your next adventure.
My compliments to Strik and Fran! You guys are great, you both have great ability, intuition, knowledge, technic and skills about anything from boat navigation to video shooting but above all you have guts and why not, also some good luck! Thanks a lot for sharing with us your amazing adventures and the beautiful scenarios of the coral reef of the Great Barrier! Wow, what an adventure and how awesome to share it with us. Somewhat shattered that you have finished, my Sundays won’t be the same. Can’t wait for your next adventure/s. Thank you from an armchair bound land lubber who thoroughly enjoyed all of you efforts. I’ll raise a glass tonight to you. Cheers
What a wonderful pair of human beings you are, never change guys
I don't know what is my favorite adventure. I love everything you 2 do. One of my favorite things is when Fran is cooking in the back to basic kitchen.
Thank you so much for this wonderful journey. With 70 plus years behind me, these adventures are going into my memory vacations!!
It's pretty amazing that you don't see another boat out on the water????? You would think that there would be more people enjoying the beauty? Thank you for sharing!!!!!
Thank you Fran and Jack for taking us on this amazing journey you had. Can’t edit to see what you do next. Cheers from the Hunter Valley in NSW 💙💕
This was a fun adventure to watch. Sorryp the trip had to be cut short, I'm glad you two made it back safely though. Thanks gor taking us along. I can't wait for the next one! 💜
Sad to see this series come to an end. Good job getting out of the way from Jasper. I know how terrifying Hurricanes and Typhoons and Cyclones are, I live in Pensacola and have seen way too many storms hit here. Take care, fair weather and following seas in your coming adventures.
As a Canadian, I find much of these experiences mind blowing and the non-chalant way you say, “Oh, are you looking for crocodiles behind me?” And “There’s a tiger shark, do you want you want to get out of the water?” “No, I’m fine.” This speaks to the different education you receive there and how education guides your choices instead of fear. Really fascinating! Loved this series!!
"Yer lookin' behind me for crocs?" "Yeah, bloody oath!"
Epic mud crab 🦀 Fran
Seafood is so much sweeter when you catch it yourself.
Brave Turtle Girl !!!!!
Safe Travels
Cheers 🍻
That was definitely a once in a lifetime adventure, You have taken us along to see remote areas that people don’t see. Thanks again, I wish I had your survival skills, living off the sea, You two are amazing people
What a wonderful, wholesome, educational series. Feeling sad that it has ended. Thank you.
Thank you so much for inviting us along. My 15 year old grandson has expressed interest in becoming a marine biologist; I have shared several of your videos with him. I studied oceanography and marine biology in the late 60s and early 70s. We had Jacques Cousteau, the Calypso, his books along with amazing photography for that time. Your videos and insights have taken marine biology, oceanography education, indigenous awareness and insights, and environmental awareness to a new level. Several in depth college level courses could be developed from your work. Congratulations on a safe return and creating a most impressive body of work. What is you next project?
Hi Strick don't let Fran get away! she's a good cook Buon Appetito👏😉
More Fran 🫶🏻👙🐠🪸🌊👍🏻😎
Wow😃! I spent a month with Aussie'n New Zea soldiers in Hawaii 85'. This is what their stories were about there while we drank beers. Thanks for showing me every week. 🗣️ "Hoo-ah!" Memphis, 10🇺🇸USA
Loved coming along with this journey with you both. Super entertaining, real, and breathtaking ♥️
It is a weird feeling to find myself with a smile because you spotted a new species snorkeling, or to go to a supermarket and buy tons of seafood because I see you guys eating it...and then I discover that the reason behind all this is because I learned to like you guys, and celebrate your achievements and contemplate the beauty of every little spot you brought to us...maybe one day Strick and Fran are going to have an adventure in Brazil! For now, receive our love, respect and admiration!!! 🇧🇷
Fran catching that giant mud crab is awesome!!!
Thank you for taking us on this epic journey! I've looked forward to Sunday every week for the past few months. Love every episode. Inspirational at it's best!

I’m glad you’re safe after the storm.
Strick and Fran Hope you’re both safe from the storm.
I can’t wait for your next adventure. That giant mud crab looked delicious, Fran.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. What a pleasure it has been watching the two you together against mother nature. Tip of the hat to you both.
Thank you strick and fran for taking me and wife on one of your adventures.
My family and I take one long trip every year, and your adventures made us fall in love with Australia so our next trip is going down under. Love from Miami!
I saw the iguanas 🦎 pesky critters. Thanks for saving the eggs Fran and Strick . lol
I don’t know if Fran would’ve be there without you Strick 🤔
Hard to imagine that this EPIC experience is over. But when one door closes, another opens. I cant wait to continue following to see what's next for you guys - and for us! Get some rest, and keep us informed as your next adventure evolves! Peace, love, and excellent health to you both!
I am so glad the two of you made the run for safety. I remember being on the South Australian Continental Shelf when a totally unexpected storm enveloped us so quickly, in a matter of minutes we were fighting to stop the boat from being flipped over. Six knots was almost too fast, just fast enough to hold our own as the boat climbed each green wave before it completely enveloped our 8.3 meter cabin cruiser; which broke through the back of each wall of water, before becoming airborne into the next trough giving us barely enough time to recover before the next wall of water. We spent one and a half hour dodging every green wave we could, powering up then backing off again and again before we reached the Leah of one of the capes ?? were the seas settled enough to allow us to get my boat up on a semie plane at 9 knots. took another hour and a half to reach the safety of Port MacDonald. My legs had turned to jelly and ached for days
Upon our return to Port, A Professional Fisherman told us in no certain terms that there had been several cars with boat trails parked for weeks waiting for their owner to return. No trace was ever found of the boats or crew. They were at that area of no return when the weather picks up.
Thank you so much. I'm nearly 80 now but in my twenties my then wife and I lived off the land in QW'Land. You both have given me a new youth. Thank you. And
Fran I love your Itlian cooking. So health and delicious.
Strick and Fran, so glad you had a fantastic last day and even gladder that you made it back in time to safely to escape the Cyclone. I only found your channel a while ago and have been loving it. Going to have to try and find the time to watch it all from the very beginning. I'm sure you must be sad it's over, but what an amazing trip and the amazing memories you will have of it. Thanks for sharing! Much ❤ to you both, for what you are going to now, and for the next adventure. 🙂😎😘
NICE WORK MATE VERY WELL DONE IAM WATCHING FROM AUSTRALIA TIGHT LINES EVERYONE 👌 😀 👍 👏 🙌 😎
Thanks for taking us on an awesome journey each week. 👍🤘🏼
Shout out from Lindi, South Africa. I want to be like Fran💃. I loved the giant mudcrab episode. Hubby and I relax most Sunday mornings watching your weekly episodes. Thank you for your positive energy🫶🏻
I absolutely love your videos. If only we all lived in a warmer climate. It’s horrible and drizzling here in the uk today. And the waters are never that clear when we swim.
All I can say is that you two are amazing! My favorite channel on CZcams!
Loved every single video of this journey, not just because of the amazing scenery (and videography) you've given us, but also for the reflective, positive, and loving personalities you both have. Life can be difficult at times and we might feel a bit adrift now and then, but your content provide motivational and encouraging pockets of breathable air.
You two are loving what you're doing & it shows every episode. What an adventure. Sad to see it end...but look forward to your next one. You're two of my favorites!
We are definitely not here to pay bills and die. We created the currency and it seems to control way too much of our lives. The earth is here for everyone to enjoy and I’m sure your adventures will inspire many more to get back to basics. I just can’t imagine bringing a camera with me and filming everywhere I go so I’m glad there are people who do.
So glad to see that y'all put the baby Turtles on an island safe from predators. Do you think they'll go nest back at that other island when they get older or at the one y'all put them at?
Man, Fran really came through with the Giant Mudcrab and Pipis. I didn't know that's what they were called or that you could even eat them. I learn so much watching y'all's videos.
This channel has become an integral part of my Sunday mornings here in South Africa. Please don't stop.
Whats next .............. We need more Strick & Fran . Love you guys . was the hilight of my week knowing you video was comming out .
Thanks you two!
Really appreciated you sharing your beautiful adventures! Your enthusiasm and appreciation of the nature you encountered was infectious. Happy you had safe travels. Looking forward to your next adventures. For a change of pace why not come up to my neighborhood and take a tour on The Milo along the wild coasts of Alaska!

Looking forward to your next adventure.
My goodness, Fran, your first giant mad crab by hand. I just love your exited voice as you mustered your giant mud crab into shallower waters with your two sticks. Your laughter and cackle was an absolute joy to hear. I am so glad that Jack watched on during the muster. I am quite sure the mud crab became exhausted and slowed down some what. Well caught Fran, I am so proud of you and Jack.
To be stranded on an island with this gal. Lucky 🦆 duck
