Ordered it in the sale ... Just arrived wearing it now ... I got it in sand. For those concerned about the wording and logo they are fairly small and inconspicuous.

Just bought one for myself and I can’t stop staring at the fit and finish of everything.yeah it’s mineral glass but man the bracelet and glass just look stunning in the sun.I plan on buying another addiesdive watch for sure.

Great review 👍 Beautiful dial/hands/case, I could live with the lug width, but not that logo. Funny, because I just ordered a Tandorio and lots of people hate their brand name, I love curry though, it just makes me hungry 🤣

Ordered one during the sale. A little concerned about the size but for the price if it looks to dinky its a birthday gift for the wife in May. I hope they make a larger version of this watch eventually, the AD2118 does not have the same sand dial. We live just off a lake in Canada and this watch is perfect to stare at in January when our sandy beaches are covered in snow and ice that will trigger fond memories of summers past.
That's a good idea. That sounds idyllic. I wish I lived somewhere like that.
I have bought a chinese yachtmaster with screws on the bracelet like the real deal and saphir crystal for 40 bucks. China really has nice offerings. Mine is by a brand called Corgeut, but the dial has nothing written on it, which is personally enjoy. The only down part about the watch so far is, that it doesn't have the usual Japanese NH35 movement, but a chinese DG2813, but so far it's reliable.
The value for money you get with these AliExpress watches is ridiculously good.
AD2059 is combination of 2030 and 118 , fixed all the issues from those 2 watches

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I almost bought one. However at the last minute I saw the Pagani Design Oyster Perpetual Yellow Homage and bought it instead . It just that colors like yellow and orange makes me cheerful. The sand brown dial of Addiesdive is beautiful too.
Addiesdive is a watch company that specializes in making nice watches with at least one obvious major flaw included.
To be fair you can't expect perfection for the prices they charge though.
They put sapphire crystals in some of their other watches that sell at similar prices. @@HonestWatchReviewsHWR
I like the look of these but for some reason I can't get over the sub 38mm size..
Got a SD1970 for 46 quid the other day though. I'm gonna go wild in the November sale this year.. Bronze. SW movements... Wild!

And yea, I have a couple of Addies. Got their popular pilot watch and the willard one they do with that blue dial that looks a bit like an ocean scene. Just had to have an actual black dial one though... And picked up the chocolate bar rubber strap from Rdunae just now.
Gonna get my Apocalypse Now on, in the wilds of Newcastle when it arrives.. (although I look more like Col. Kurtz these days)
I'm the opposite. It about time watch companies started offering smaller watches akin to the regular size for a man's watch in the 1960s and 70s. There are more than enough oversized watches for you to choose from without more saturating the market with more. More 36mm and 38mm watches please.
Spend a few extra bucks and get the AD2118 which features a beautiful boxed sapphire crystal. The hardened mineral crystal is the only thing keeping me from wanting this model. Sapphire crystals on any watch I will wear regularly, and becoming my minimum standard. I did make an exception for a Shanghai He Ping that has an acrylic crystal, since it's basically a dress watch I'll use infrequently.
If Addiesdive ever produces a boxed sapphire version of this watch for an extra $10-$15, I may have to buy one.

This is a Quartz not Mecca-Quartz which is a Quartz module for time with a Mechanical module for a Chronograph.

Yes there are. That's why I review mainly AliExpress and Microbrand watches on the channel.
Logo wise I don’t get why they’re not proud of the movement? Get “Meca-Quartz” at the bottom instead of “Deep Sea Hunter”, I would even let them off if they kept Addiesdive and lost the logo at the top. Those two changes would be great!
Picked one up for £36 including tax and postage - I’m a Seiko guy but loved the sand dial and couldn’t not at that price. Looking forward to its arrival!
That could definitely work too. A couple of little tweaks and what is a great watch, could be even better... Especially considering the price.

I can understand that. But for the price, I was willing to overlook that. The text at the bottom especially you don't really notice when it's on wrist. I've actually just ordered a strap for mine.
