    Thank you again for your wonderful videos! Do you have a video on how to shoot portraits in live view? I keep noticing that you use this mode so I am just really curious how this works. I shoot with a d750. Thanks for all the wonderful information!

    • @esquared.photography
      @esquared.photography  Před rokem +1

      We don’t use it with our d750 because the DSLR cameras are too slow for that but we LOVE it for our Mirrorless. We don’t have a video on that though.

    Hi, I’ve watched a few of your videos so far. I was wondering if you each use the screen or viewfinder at different time for shoots? I’ve seen two different shooting styles in a few of these. I’m just getting familiar with the camera so I’m trying to figure out what the easiest approach is

    • @esquared.photography
      @esquared.photography  Před rokem

      Great question! We use the live view screen with our Nikon z7 Mirrorless because we can tap the screen for focus and with our Nikon d750 (dslr) we use the viewfinder instead because shooting in live view is too slow for that camera.

    The place where I like to take pictures is in the city. I love urban sessions. It's my favorite place but I also don't do without sessions in the middle of nature or on a beach. I've done many urban sessions with my photo models.

      @@esquared.photography I guessed incorrectly, as I hear such good things about the 85mm F/1.8 or 1.4 giving better depth of field. I rarely use my 50mm, there again I tend to enjoy Landscape photography, and use my telephoto's more. Thanks for the tips for when I do my Portrait photography!

      Some good questions, tips here! I realize that the shutter speed needs to be high, so are you shooting in Manual or Shutter speed priority? I notice you often shoot at 200 ISO...why not 100 ISO, is it because of an even higher shutter speed needed/given? I find myself in aperture priority most often, to get a sharp image of the person, but the background thrown out of focus, but I suppose it all depends on the type of shot you're looking for? Do you use back button focus, where you can hold down the button to keep the focus as sharp as possible at all times? I'm wondering if you very often use 'single point' focus, or always continuous? Thanks!

    • @esquared.photography
      @esquared.photography  Před 2 lety +1

      @@Powerstroke98 great questions. We always shoot manual, continuous mode and iso 200 just is what we’ve always chosen. And we do use bbf
