Thank you always for the amazing CZcams videos ! I love how you make everything simple , basic and positive!
Thank you for showing such a simple location! I most prefer head shots, senior portraits, mini sessions of different occasions (1-2 people) and I am constantly stalking out pretty, cute, “photogenic”, tucked away spots while I’m driving around. I am artistic and creative and a very visual person. I never would have thought to do a location like this but now it is on my photography bucket list. It will provide so many more opportunities that I didn’t see before. Thank you
Love you ladies! Thank you for all you do to share your craft with the rest of us wannabes!
Enjoyed the video. Glad you posted final images. Your senior subject was a natural and comfortable in front of the camera.
You guys always have a great balance. I struggle with finding good locations that I haven’t used before for shoots.
Found your channel recently, as I was wanting tips on my new Expo Disc. I really love your behind the scenes. I’m such a visual learner!!! I’m a hobbyist in CA, but my youngest son asked me to do his senior portraits this week. I’m nervous and don’t want to mess them up, but you two are helping me understand the flow and what poses work. Thanks so much! Wish me luck!
Hey all! We forgot to add in the images from the shoot in the video. Here is a link to our Instagram page where you can see them. Don't forget to follow us on Instagram! instagram.com/p/Cf1RlKsAGYd/?
I love your behind the scenes videos they are so helpful!
Noticed that you are not changing focus point during the shoot. How are you getting proper focus with that shallow dof?
Great video! My challenge right now is no one wants to do pics in 100+ degree heat. Sigh
Can you guys do a video on metering modes? Please
What lens were you using? Just curious. Thanks for all your videos. Love your teachings.
Have you considered doing behind the scenes senior shoots of clients who are pear shaped or plus size?
Hi gals, great video! your 85mm is it F1.8, F1.4 or F1.2 ?? Also, are they Nikon brand?
Can you do a "spooky shoot" behind the scenes or pose ideas!? 🙂🎃
Just beginning to watch.. but! What is that thing you put on your lens, then took it off?? Thanks .. now back to watching!
Haha great observation!! It’s an expodisc that helps correct white balance. We have a couple videos about this too.
Ok.. in this are you using manual mode or aperture priority? Also are you using servo or one shot. Just wondering since you said you don’t change settings doing photo shoots.
Manual mode. We only really change our shutter speed through a session. And servo
Can u pls tell what u did to your camera in the beginning?
We set the expo disc. It’s a tool we use to get our white balance right in camera. 🙌
Love your videos! I noticed you are using live view. Are you using back button focus? Can you use back button focus on live view or is it dependent on the camera? I have a Nikon d3500.
It might be dependent on the camera. We have found live view to be not great on a dslr camera but love it on our Mirrorless. We actually can use shutter or bbf on the Mirrorless this way and it’s great.
I have a Nikon 7200, I have trouble with low light like in a church or building, I realize this is an entry-level camera do you have any suggestions the best settings that I could use ? I take a lot of pictures of my grankiddos doing things inside like sports
A flash would be awesome! The other option is to just increases your ISO but then it can get grainy
Would the flash that I add to my hot shoe work? I do have a small cover like soft box , that attaches to it , I am actually helping a friend shoot her nephews wedding 😳🥴 , he knows that we are not ! Professional lol 😂
Hey all! We forgot to put final images in the video so here is a link to them. Thanks for tuning in. instagram.com/p/Cf1RlKsAGYd/?
