Because in his timeline, there was no temporal rip. From his perspective, Blackwood went back in time before he was supposed to, and not to fix a temporal rip, but apparently to conduct a research mission.
As much fun and somewhat more realistic as Pegasus Prime is, I still like Turbo at the core. For one thing, the AI biochip is really kind of annoying. It takes the fun and creepiness out of being alone and trying to figure it out for yourself instead of having the AI spell it out for you. Also, the robots don't seem as creepy. For one thing, they changed the mondo creepy voice!!!!!
They changed a lot of things. Among the things they changed I miss the most are the changed audio and video tracks in the TSA. Specifically I prefer the old version of the historical records with the ponytail girl and the old version of the time machine with its specific noise and video showing the temporal wave moving forward through time.
anyone find it funny that the sound effect that plays when ares picks you up is the same as when you crush poseidon under pressure in the original? i.e. sound of metal crumpling
The graphics and gameplay and stuff is better, but it just isn't as good as the originaly to me. In the original, Mars Colony had my heart rate up and sent chills through me, but not here. The original game just immerses me in ways no other game can.
He says his life as he knows it is at stake. Which is why he won't send you back to fix the temporal rips. Wouldn't NOT fixing them be automatically forfeiting your current life?
No. Since he is a product of the altered timeline then you fixing the timeline would be the equivalent of killing the altered version of the director along with every being currently in existence. Voyager dealt with this a lot better when Harry Kim wanted to send a message back in time to save Voyager from crashing into a planet as a result of a mistake he made in the past. Captain Jordy LaForge was sent to stop future Harry from sending a message back to past Harry because that would alter the timeline and thereby kill everyone in the future.
I miss the reporter with the ponytail. No offense to all the hard work of the people who made Pegasus Prime available for the PC, but the original is the superior version.
I'm a former staff member on the Journeyman Chronicles. All I can say for now is that the project is on hold. However it is NOT dead.
This game looks awesome. I really hope Presto ends up bringing this game back, I'd love to play it.
Wow, this is much better looking than the project turbo version I have!

Yeah, the robots are my favorite part of the game! (even though I only watch playthroughs and don't have the real deal)
2:56 Who made him commander?! He's too fucking paranoid.
Aw.. I miss the babble during the jumps.
Also: Looks like Ares got to the receptionist first.
Baldwin + Black hooded Cloak = The Emperor
Just noticed the 4 barrel Gatling Gun on Ares' arm...holy shit.
Mission Control has your back. XD
The TSA also seems rather small in this game like there is only one agent on shift at one time. Even Arthur notes this fact in Legacy of Time.
omfg a new jman project ??? im starting to get old for video games lol
i wish i was still 13 :P

I know, I miss the lumbering, loud walk he had originally...and the passive look he gives you.
@alphacentfanguy
If time travel makes no sense then that makes it more worth trying.

I think I preferred it when the TSA Command didn't even exist in the game XD
long story behind that lol
Baldwin getting pissed at you when you return makes the original first game look stupid for not having any major changes to the TSA.
Wait he tells you to get out of his way or die, then he just tosses you aside...? WHY BOTHER SAYING ANYTHING!? lawl

"I want to see you in my office!!" And exactly where is this office of which you inquire?

If you could please tell me how via PM, I would appreciate this. I tried using this as well, but it did not work for me.
i dont get it, why was he pissed?
Rock Papper Sicers really with all the thot put in this game thay had to make them play that come on XD
Don't Suppose you'd put some info about what was going on in each of the vids in to the Info side? XD
I miss the reporter with the ponytail.
