This is such an under-rated game. i got it free with a computer about ten years ago, and I loved every minute of it. Fun gameplay, good story, interesting mystery, pretty good graphics for the time, great comic-relief from Arthur(the Star Trek references were awesome: "If we find another, we can play Klingon Blood Warrior." "Khaaaaaaaan!."), and it's even semi-educational. Also, is it just me, or does Gage kinda look/sound like Bruce Campbell?
Every single time I think of this game I get all sad cause games suck now a days. Its all about the latest graphics, and how crappy they can make the storyline. Game makers these days also seem to be battling to see who can make the shortest games. Its pretty irritating. When I spend 50 or 60 bucks on a game I want it to last longer than the weekend I bought it. This game was AWESOME!!!! and you learn a little bit from it. ;)
@TomeOfDarkness That was back then when there were more ideas. Now that more companies are comming out with new games, thus more people are taking up ideas; it is getting harder.
Okay, so ...Gage doesn't want them to shut down because once they shut down, Agent 3 will have total freedom to do whatever she wants. But ...if she's in the past (which she is), the Temporal Security Agency of 2318 to 2328 is still watching her. If she messed with the past, Gage's past self already would've caught her. If she traveled to the future or elsewhere in the present, instead of the past, she wouldn't be in the past messing up history and thus wouldn't be their problem. *sigh* -_-
Time distortions only seem to show up in the person's "present." That's why only Agent 5 was the only one who could deal with the distortion in the first game, as the robots came from his present. That's why he wasn't hit with past and future hims (and other agents) going for the disk or going directly to the source of the changes with their jumpsuits.
@ghostyfiable Having the exact same issue under Windows 7 32bit. I've tried almost everything! I even ran it in a Win98SE virtual machine, but VMware doesn't support DirectDraw, so I can't even start it. This is driving me insane because I got #2 to work fine. Have you been able to fix this problem at all???
The game is a little hard to find these days, you could probably get it on eBay or similar. For this video I used a Windows XP virtual machine so the game should still be playable even today on a current OS by using a VM.
I have issues with playing this game. First of all is the audio. I am using Windows 7 x86 and the audio is extremely choppy. The graphics seem to be a bit laggy too. Anyone managed to run it under Windows 7 x86 successfully?
YES! I've been searching for years for this game, I could never remember the name but remembered clearly the game. I can't wait to get it again!
the longest game intro ever, huh?
haha, i love this game and will always play it again and again and again!
thanks a lot for uploading this!!!!
I used to play this as a kid, the nostalgia!
