Im having a problem with mine :( it seems that my mute switch will only turn sound on and wont reach the rocker to turn vibrate back on. Any suggestions?
I just got this case and it is a nice case, but that home button cover bothers me so much. I never owned the previous models of this case, but i understand this one is touch id compatible and the cover on the home screen is so flimsy. Like it feels like a plastic bag that you can easily tear or poke a hole through. I was wondering if this was always like that and if i shouldnt be worried, because it would suck if water seeped through the home button cover and my phone suffered water damage. It is nice they include a 1 year warranty deal thingy, but still a bummer.
I recently got this case and after putting in the headphone jack adapter piece to see how it worked (unscrewed it and removed within seconds) my sound has been off. It makes a ticking noise now whenever I watch any video and not a single pair of my headphones will work. And I used a pair of them just yesterday before I put the case on so did I do something wrong that messed up my sound or what. Why can't I use my headphones. (Got the case and put it on and put the adapter in just to take it all off and put it away as I was just looking at the fit and didn't want the case on quite yet.)
where does the sound come from!? For it to come out then there has to be a hole. but if theR is a hole then its not waterproof. Please help!
Is there anyway of fixing a slight crack on the bottom left side where the aux port is??? I’m just a little concerned and I’m too scared to water test it
Do you recall if the backside of the case sat flush on the back of the phone or If there was a separation between them? Mine does not sit flush so I was curious as to your result.
Any body elses hard to move the silence button to vibrate and ringer?

Yesssss it's so annoying I accidentally broke my case just trying to get the vibrate off but this isn't a hate comment I can't wait to get a new one!!!!!

I just got one from Amazon prime for 40$. I didn't test it as suggested for waterproofing? Seems ok? Thinking now though I should take it out of the case and test it now? I got this case cause I dropped my 5 month old iPhone 6S in water and broke it. Had insurance and a replacement phone less than 24 hours after it broke but want to avoid that in the future. I wish I could go without a case for my iPhones but history proves Im too accident prone no matter how careful I am.
is it ok to delete i phone featured apps like face time, tips, voice memos,wallet , stocks, etc.?

I have some of the Newton rings/ oil spots on my case screen after awhile but they tend to go away

It works i have the case right now and it is a great case
I use to have it on my iphone 5, it worked at first, but abaout a month it just destroy it self, the borders crack and the procective screen just went off
I didn't put the cup over when I tested mine does that matter

It’s supposed to be water proof but when I take it out of my pocket it always has lint in between the screen protector and my phone can someone help me out here it’s new by the way

I have the pink case on my iPhone 7 and so far the only problem I've been having is that the front camera fotos look terrible any kind of light in the photo just ruins it

Great review my friend. I just got this case in white yesterday and I love it. I was a bit worried cause it looks like around the bottom of the case it's not super tight when closed but I'm hoping that it would be fine.
One issue, the screen protector takes away from the phones display a bit.
Anyone tell me how to take this case off? Don't see any info for taking apart iPhone 6 case
Great video! Lifeproof has always been great for my phones.
I just got this case today. I primarily got it as a all in one solution for water dust etc. One of the biggest reasons why I dont like others like the otterbox defender is that dust and dirt get under the screen protector way too easily which leads to having to disassemble it often to clean it. I had high hopes for this case and was happy until i went to attach the charging cable and found out that the opening for the lightning connector is just big enough to fit the original connector only. After market connectors tend to have a larger body on the end and will NOT fit in the opening of the charge port. I am sure they did this to keep it as water proof as possible but for people like me who dont want to spend a fortune for several original lightning connectors this case wont work for you for this reason alone. This is horribly disappointing to me where as everything else works for my needs except for this..
I have had my phone for two years and never had to buy another charger lol, plus Apple has designed iPhones to reject fake chargers and to either (A) not work or (B) give it a hard time working.

I finally found a set of headphones that fit without having to use their adapter....Also the phone gets major dust particles with this life proof case...another thing the phone doesn't like aftermarket chargers...it gets alerts when using others... Good luck!!

Pretty good, but not as good as an otter box defender. Otter box owns life proof though. I have a few friends hat use life proof and work construction and has held up well so far.

Im on my 4th Lifeproof case on I phones and now on an I phone 6.Defo saved a fortune in its drop protection as I have dropped them loads of times off scaffolding as far as 30 metres drop and still ok phone.Dropped in cement mixer, floor levelling compond and tile grout, still works.BUT the silence button now has a tear in its cover so I doubt its waterproof anymore. And it was a stiff button to use as another reviewer pointed out. I did call the sellers but they said I would have to return it for a replacement.I cant be without the phone espescially with no cover so I have to buy a new case then send the damaged one back for a refund.Pain.

New 6s with new LifeProof case. Guy at Sprint store put case on. Now can't get it off. Tried prying with my nail, USB cord (as shown in video) and a coin. It will not budge. Need to be able to get the case off sometimes - any suggestions?!?

Does anyone else have specks on there phone? I put rubbing alcohol wipes and I'm not sure if that's why it's there even though I whipped it off with a paper towel and the wipe it comes with. Any advice????
That could be why as rubbing alcohol can remove the coating on the glass.

Yes, there is plastic there and over the camera. Surprisingly, the camera stays very clean!

I have one problem with this case I just got an iPhone 6s and a life proof fre today and I noticed that I have to press significantly harder on the screen for the "tap" to register. I've also tried reapplying it many times and it stays the same any tips
+Cassidy Conrad what they mean is that you have to press on the screen quite hard and many times for the phone to do what u want it to it doesn't respond very well when u have that case on I had one for my iPhone 5s took it off within an hour

This case has a little rubber pad that seals water from going in your charging port. Too bad that shit falls out easily and you will lose it trust me. Life proof maybe if u can keep it together

i had one of these and it was the best phone case i ever had. no dust no nothing touching my phone. so easy to clean. good grip. i didnt buy it for the waterproof honestly. the other features is what i liked.

The default Apple Ear Pods do fit without the adapter. This is an improvement over the previous cases from the last years.
Do you think my iPhone will be protected against moisture and heat produced by carrying my iPhone on the back pocket of my jersey during a 4 hour bicycle ride under the sun? Would the air inside the case condensate from exposing it to the sun?

+Felix Aguilar the moisture in the air inside the phone won't be enough to do any damage, probably not enough air space inside to condensate. But the heat itself may still get to it, but no worse than if it were without a case. Probably slightly better due to the metal not being exposed.

I would advice for people to wait for the Catalyst cases which are also waterproof. Plus have absolutely no rainbow effect as these lifeproof ones have and are less expensive as well as you can get it for the iphone 6+

I have had a Lifeproof case for my iPhone 5 and was very happy with it, but the recent one I have got for iPhone 6 I am disappointed with; the vibrate switch won't work and the shop I purchased this from said this is normal and won't refund me :( . But most disappointing is that there is no lanyard attachment like with the iPhone 5 version so it is totally useless for kayaking! I had purchased the 6 on the assumption that it would be as good as the 5.
I had this for iPhone 5...hated talking with the case on, headphones with microphone are a must and didn't like sensitivity loss, I'll probably wait for the nun version...other than that these cases are the best...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the plastic on the inside, scratch the sides and corners on the iPhone?
No. There's not a lot of sharp plastic and it's a snug fit, so there's no room to bump into it or anything.

Lifeproof officially makes FRE for the 6s now. Supposedly it is a very tiny bit thicker due to the slightly thicker profile of the 6s. The charging point is a bit wider too, so it accepts more generic chargers that tend to be wider.
I have the black case for my 6s and am very happy. I haven't dunked it with the iPhone inside, but I have used it in the rain without worrying about it :)
How's the quality of it now, just bought mine and I intend to use it in my Malaysia trip, for filming and maybe even underwater use?
The quality is still very good. I did have an issue several months ago where my voice would occasionally sound muffled to the caller. This was frustrating because it would happen in the middle of conversations and the caller would have no idea what I said, so I would put on speaker phone and they would hear me just fine. I called lifeproof support, went through some troubleshooting, and ultimately they sent me a new case, which has been working perfectly. There is a membrane in the case to seal the mic. Lifeproof thought this membrane may have been defective. The customer service was great, and I'm still happy to have my lifeproof protecting my phone while at the pool :)

gonna buy this next month! people this is not an everyday case. u just have to use this when u go to the beach or pool or lake.
I would recommend this case for a light phone user, I love mine, but I use my phone a lot, and it gets a tiny bit flimsy, the charge port door opens at the slight of touch after a while, the silence slide button piece came off within the first week of use, and I don't feel confident in how well it will hold water out, SO IF YOU are a LIGHT phone user, I HIGHLY recommend this case. If you are looking more for a more durable case and not waterproof, I would recommend the otterbox defender, never have had a problem with mine, even the time I did drop it in water, even tho it's not a waterproof case.
