Lifeproof is awesome. Can't wait to get a Lifeproof case for my iPhone 7. I've been using Lifeproof's cases ever since I got my iPhone 4.
Very glad you did this review because I didn't have a screen protector on my phone under this case but once I took the case off to wear a new case my phone didn't have a screen protector so I bought a screen protector to go on it. So once I want to put this case back on I'm glad to know the case will still work with a screen protector on it!
I work construction and I go through cases like crazy. I buy them off amazon. They work good but dust always gets in them after a few days. I've had my eye on these for a while now and just picked one up. Hopefully it fairs better than the rest 👍

I have the iPhone 7 red with this exact case on it, it works great. I haven't gotten it wet yet because I'm still a little worried the iPhone will fail or the case will fail but for drops, dust, mud and everything like that this case is great.
Excellent review, thank you. I just bought one today and after immersing it in the sink it immediately filled with water. I had a look with an LED and there is a tiny manufacturing fault in the top allowing water in. My problem seems to be an isolated case (if you’ll pardon the pun). Great review though.
Buttons are very stiff if you were older with arthritis I wouldn't recommend it. Edges are a little slippery I wish there was a touch more rubber or ridges to make it more grippy. I love this case I feel very secure in all environments with my phone. I recommend it.

TiffanyzCurls yeah it's pretty much accidental quick dunk resistant. I wouldn't dare swim with it or even with the lifeproof for that matter.

I bought one of their waterproof cases for ipad mini. My Ipad is my computer it never leaves the house. I just wanted a case with water protection for times I watch videos while washing dishes, shaving or even taking a bath. Problem is, the charge port is accessible by a small door that swivels open and the hard plastic the door clips on (to make it watertight) broke within a few months of babying the product. So I contact warranty claims only to be told: ''Sorry we do not make your product anymore you can go and buy one on amazon out of your own money maybe?'' I am left feeling like I bought an overpriced ill-designed, defective product. To add insult to injury, customer service provides no service!
i work with horses who love to try and nibble my phone and these cases have protected my phone for ages no broken screens!
If anyone's wondering it's basically life prof, you can get a screen protector on the phone but it would be weird with the plastic one built into the case, it can survive 8-12 feet of water and it's cool ;D
If you have an old lifeproof case and you upgrade your phone to the 7 you can use the warranty on lifeproofs' website and get a new case (for your new iPhone) and get in for $4.95

Is the picture/photo quality (and flash) good whilst using the Lifeproof Fre case (taking normal photos not necessarily under water). How easy is it to use the buttons. Is the screen touch good or does the screen cover effect the screen touch. Is the sound quality good. thank you

I just got an iPhone 7 plus in red and I got the grey with the green FRE life proof and I love it except for the mute button doesn't work well with the case on in my opinion.

You should test how many meters can it survive under and for how long. Putting the case under sink pressure won't show how good is the case

You don't need to damage the phone. Just use the case itself and if its filled with water then it didn't survive :)

Yes, it definitely does. As well as the headphone jack protector, actually my green seal ring fell off after the second week of having it on my phone. It's a fairly cheap quality case considering it's $90.

Once you crack the original screen off to replace it the waterproof goes completely away as it’s not as perfectly sealed as it was at the start
My phone is fun ed for. This case while showing friends how ''waterproof '' it is. I put it u red 2- 3 inches underwater after owning for a year. I bought from best buy.

benji mARCHE it's water resistant, not waterproof which are two different things! The case allows your phone to be waterproof!
if you crack your phone and get it repaired it will no longer be waterproff so this will help on repared phones
Water resistant means that if you spill water or whatever on it, it won’t full on break. It’s also not mean’t to be in deep-Ish water for a long time.
Does the fre 7 version still have the annoying air gap between the case and screen like the 6 did?
The worst possible case for iPhone , without screen protector after a month or two it scratches the screen badly. After I had that junk on my 6s I wouldn't get it if it was free lol. I feel in love with the nude one( no garbage plastic screen) much better ( for me at least)

Don't buy a life proof! It leaves a ring around your home Button and will always have a rainbowish color alteration between the glass and the screen protector

The first day I got this case my phone fell off my bed which is a 2ft drop and my phone screen shattered. It didn’t crack when my dad ate it but still before my dog got it it cracked from that small drop 😔

When I get mad at my brother I throw my phone with the life proof case at him full force and my phone is fine each time. If it would ever fall in water or a lake it would also be protected against water. 😑

I don't see a lot of people running out for this case. Way too expensive for no more than you get. There are cheaper alternatives. Seems more of a for name purchase.

as waterproof or resistant the case is, i would never get my phone wet at any given time. i like my phone to stay bone dry forever. life proof cases to me just make a phone look fatter and gain weight. the case makes the iPhone now look like a nintendo ds.
I recently got my iPhone 7 and I have been noticing rainbow bubble type things between the screen protector and the actual iPhone screen. I was worried it was water so I took it off but when I put it back on it still appears. I like it because it’s so protective but are the rainbow things normal or should I be worried.

+Fabian Archibold The iPhone 7 is water resistant, not waterproof. Many people have thrown into the water and damaged it and Apple does not cover it under warranty if your phone gets wet.
zollotech ok water resistant but you can still swim with it and go on the water and buried in sand clean it out and it will still work what's the point of the case? I've even seen people on CZcams deep dive swim with it
