I like that's it's an all in one charging and waterproof case!
Only thing I don't like is they use micro usb instead of lighting. Good review tho
I agree if they used lighting cable the case would have been better but it's still a good case.
bizzy247 cause if u want to to use lighting cable you have to pay more money to apple and they have it on your product that’s why literally every pone uses micro USB cause it’s cheap
What is the issue with Micro USB?
Gabriel Martins My personal issue with MicroUSB ports is that they get filled with pocket lint, which prevents the charging cable from connecting properly. Cleaning can only be done with a pin, and that scrapes up the tiny contacts and causes the phone to act up (the recommended compressed air doesn’t work). iPhone Lightning ports can be cleaned out fairly easily with a non-conductive toothpick.

Real phone saver....I use this case for over 3 months.It gives 1+ battery recharge drop protection awesome, real waterproof.
And minus points weight, the Silicon O ring must be in correct place.If remove it reinstall it Very carefully to the case.
How is the sound? Is the sound good phone calls and listening to music through the speakers?

No, it's online. But they price match in store. The sale is over though, like I said, they do it very randomly. Just check every so often
My dad got this case for his iPhone 6 a little less than a year ago and it's held up pretty well considering he drops it off the roofs he works on almost everyday I just wish they had the case for the 6plus because I want one too

FYI: You CAN use the original Apple ear pods WITHOUT the adapter because it's skinny enough to fit right in (That's what she said ...). Anything after market will not fit and you will need the headphone adapter. This IS a great case!
Have had life proof cases for all my iPhone's since my iPhone 4
The cases don't last at all!
The silent buttons eventually stop working and also tear.
I had one case that the window in the back that shows the apple logo broke and water got in,this made me move to the nudd version as it doesn't have the rear window.
Every single case I've had has had the charge port door break under normal usage.
Ohh and the sound for when making calls is awful! You have to turn of phone noise cancellation as the case completely muffles the rear ambient mic,so people can't hear you very well.
I've finally gave up using them. I'm now just very careful with my phone when working.

Just a heads up, you MUST USE A legit data cable to charge not just a regular or cheap charging cable. It will over heat. Ask me how I know this????

I have used several cable that wont charge it. Including cables from Anker will not charge. Any one has an Idea which cables will charge it? The original is broken and I use one that works but where can I get one that really charges it.
+somarpr as I said before, you have to use a data cable. The difference is the level of resistance inside the cable data maybe anywhere from slow to mid rate of charging. Just a cheap cable may over heat the battery from charging too fast.

I called Lifeproof and they told me my case is bad. As it is still under warranty I am getting a replacement new cas and 2 charging cables. They have an excellent service policy.
How do you know this?
Love the case only annoying thing was that the gasket on the case kept popping out when I was trying to put the case on :/ hope it doesn't affect its water proofness
I have that case and it's really good but the only thing is it's a little bulky but that's only because of the charger part mine was around $150 - $175 also the sound is on the lower back of the case
Man I miss that case the iPhone 6s has the best case . I have the iPhone XS MAX now and still haven’t seen a LifeProof charging case since the 6s

This would be absolutely amazing for my phone but they discontinued it from what I can find
Have had mine about 19 months. After just over a year, the little hole cover on the front finally fell out. Now, it’s just starting to fall apart. It stays to gather, but certainly will not be waterproof anymore.
I see that it worked, but I'm still so nervous with lifeproof cases. I've had such bad luck with them in the past. Do they make this case for 6 plus? I'm a landscaper and always around water and dirt.
The battery case isn't out yet for the plus iPhones, but they do have non battery versions.

Will there be air bubbles in the case if your phone has a cracked screen? I have an otterbox with a cracked screen and there isn't any bubbles.
So how do you charge the case when the phone is dead? You plug it in and it charges both or is it charging one at a time?
The waterproof test in 5 cm of water does not make sens. This case supposed to stop any leak at depth of 6 feet (almost 2 m)
So testing in the sink does not prove anything.
So quick question. Let’s say I am going to charge my phone overnight, 1) do I have to take the case off 2) if I don’t and just connect it to the case, will both the case AND the phone charge at the same time and 3) if it does that, will both of them be fully charged when I wake
You don’t have to take it off the charge. It will make sure your iPhone is church first and then it will continue to charge the battery pack

I was actually one of the first beta testers for the fre power. I loved this case, i was sad when i upgraded from my 6s that I couldn’t use it anymore so i sold it. Now my dad is using my old iPhone 6s and i wanted to buy him this case but they are impossible to find without the front piece missing.
Would this work with a glass screen protector
No. I tried with a 0.2 mm Momax screen protector. The Frē without the battery will work because the plastic screen cover of that has more of a gap. I've also tried this.
The Frē Power is better because of the rigidity, better speaker sound, and minimal newton rings.
Is it supposed to stop charging the phone when I have it plugged in to the wall and the phone is done? Because mine isn't doing that, it keeps the phone charging and doesn't charge the case
Is it possible to just charge the case and have my phone off? I like my phone off at night. And is it possible to only charge my phone by the mini usb if the case is at 100%?

They replaced mine no charge and even included 2 charging cables. Instructed me to use the suppied cable as cheap ones could break the connector.
they won't stand by it for me. They only validate the warranty for the plus sized case.

Is anybody experiencing charging problem? There seems to a problem when charging this case. This seems to be a random thing (Has this sound it makes when it can't charge.) This is my 3rd Replacement New Case. Some Micro USB cable brands seem to be worse than the other - always breaking/bending at the tip.

mine lasted 3 months before it crapped out on me. I cant use it because the shitty plastic snapped in 2, I'm out 140 bucks, and life proof won't replace it or refund me.
The o ring keeps popping out when I take my phone out and put it back in which is really annoying

I've had a life proof in the past and the screen was always so annoying becauss it would pop up from the iPhone screen and there was space between the two screens. Have they used better technology for that?

Called up the number they gave me - 1 (888) 533-0735 - and hit all the numbers for warranty claims and they sent me a whole new case no questions asked and without having to return my old one. Only problem is that you have to pay 5 bucks and change for shipping.
