Very helpful! I never notice any difference when I take vitamins but this year I committed to staying on a vitamin regimen and just trust my body is benefitting. I've been on liposomal vitamin C for about 3-4 months. I'm eyeing those ultrasonic cleaners on Amazon and (I'm so cheap) might get one of the larger jewelry cleaner ones. Do you think that would be okay? Looks like the cleaner could also clean jewelry and eyeglasses. Let me know if you have other uses for it. Many thanks, Claudia! You are wonderful.
Hi Debbie, it is always nice to see your beautiful face here ❤️
I am glad this video was helpful!
As far as the ultrasonic cleaner, I think it’’s best to get the real thing and just use it for making your concussions. They are around $100-150, which seems like a lot, but if you make a few batches of liposomal c and glutathione, you already got your money’s worth, since buying either is quite expensive
Now you could technically use the cleaner to clean jewelry and glasses though, but I have not
I hope this helps. Please keep me posted
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, thank you so much for being here

@@claudiaglows How important is the ultra sonic cleaner?
@@colleencameron1200 hi Colleen

It reduces the size of the liposomes, making them easier absorbed
I would say it is a wiry whole investment, if you think you will make this and or liposomal vitamin c for the long run

You are very welcome! I love your CZcams name!
I just ordered my second liposomal coQ10 which is a game changer for me, with my chronic fatigue. The supplement form that I had tried many times, didn't do much, but the more expensive liposomal one was amazing. Now I've made lipsomal C and can't really stand the taste of lecithin in any form, can't eat many eggs for that reason and its inherited taste. But the purchased one does use orange. Don't know if it can be combined with C, have to research but am trying to determine amounts to create roughly the same 300 mg per serving and will be rewatching your video a few times. Thought about measuring 10 ml dosage store bought version has, times say 20, and then using 20 supplements and making adjustments this way. Vodka is my normal alchohol for ice cream cleaning, anything actually. Though I rarely drink to begin with. Great and informative video. May even try the glutathione sometime soon.
I am really happy to hear that liposomal COQ10 is helping you so much! Does it not contain lecithin? I am not too fond of the taste of lecithin either, but unfortunately it or a similar emollient is needed to encapsulated certain nutrients in liposomes
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. If you try liposomal glutathione, please keep us posted.

Thank you very much for this video. Can you use lecithin powder instead of granules? Than you.
You’re very welcome, thank you for being here. Yes, you can use powder but not liquid lecithin
Great video :) can this work with almost any supplement? For example there is quite a bit of research (clinical trials) suggesting that quercetin is very effective in helping with covid. That said, the RCTs used what’s called ‘quercetin pytosomes’ which I’m assuming is a liposomal version. I am also curious if you can take several (c, glutithione and quercetin and have just one thing you take and more importantly do it all in one mixture and one clean up etc.. thx again for the content … really appreciated.
Hi David, thank you for your kind comment. Yes, technically you can do this with just about any supplement. It is a bit hard to figure out how much of it you are actually taking, when making it yourself, but you could always try to do the math. I have heard great things about liposomal quercetin as well, and might just have to try to make it. If you make it, please let us know how it came out. And yes, you can mix several nutrients together. I often add a bit of glutathione to my liposomal c.
I hope you are having a great day, please keep us posted.

@@claudiaglows ok great thx. Have a wonderful day :))

Claudia, thank you SO much for this video (and the Vit C one). I was actually looking for instructions to make Liposomal Curcumin for my husband who has Myeloma when I came across this. Is there any chance you could give instructions for making Liposomal Curcumin and maybe Boswellia? I'm sure the process is the same as for Glutathione but I really need to know the ingredient proportions. Since watching this video, I'm going to make the Liposomal Glutathione as well. I've made the Lipo Vit C before but I think I'll try your recipe since my last blend was too thin which unfortunately blended with the juice and was rather yucky. We prefer to take it down in one hit and get it over with! I was also just wondering, if it turns out too liquid again, would it be ok to add more Lecithin and re-blend?
Hi, thank you so much for being here. You knew, I would encapsulate the curcumin and Boswella in the same way, so using the same measurements.
You could even put a bit of each into the glutathione or vitamin c mix
I have found that depending on which lecithin powder I use, my vitamin c can get a bit thin as well. But adding a bit of glutathione to the mix actually helps thicken it. So again, you could combine the C and glutathione and even add the curcumin and or boswella
Please keep me posted
xx
What a good idea to do curcumin and Boswella this way! Thinking of you and your husband
And to combine with the C worud simplify it
Hi Claudia thank you for sharing another great video. you think I can make the Glutathione using your vitamin C method which is easier to measure and take. I love your videos thank you again.
Hi Frank, thank you for your kind comments. Yes, you can absolutely use the vitamin C recipe. I do the same here, just less quantity. Please keep me posted
I am very happy you are here
xx
Very interesting. I wondered how this stuff is made. How did you find out?
Hi, thank you for being here. I actually copied my liposomal vitamin c video for it and it worked great
xx
Even if you take liposomal glutathione, it will not get absorbed because it only gets produced at the cellular level. If you take it orally, it would be degraded in the stomach and the bile would completely neutralize it, making it completely ineffective and also because it would have to go from the bloodstream, across 2 cell membranes to get inside the cell
I honestly don’t know how you do it but you read my mind 😇. I’ve been researching antioxidants. I can’t wait to watch this!
Hi gorgeous

Hello Claudia, thank you so much for this video! Does it make a difference if we use sunflower lecithin in powder form or even liquid instead of granules?
Thank you for being here, Isabelle
You can use sunflower lecithin in powder form, but liquid will unfortunately not work
Of you make this, please keep us posted
Have a great day
xx
@@claudiaglows will do, thank you! I've just read that "The granules are slightly higher in fat, with 8 grams per serving compared with the 2.5 grams in a serving of powder." Which means that the liquid form = more fat and could make the recipe more and even too potent which could create unwanted side effects...
Hello Claudia, couldn't find sunflower lecithin in granules form in Canada, so I'll use powder form. Also, to avoid the "awful" taste, would it be a good idea to fill in empty vegan, non gmo capsules? Any reason not to? Thanks in advance for your response! :-)
@@isabellek.proulx7229 hi Isabelle, yes you can absolutely fill it it empty capsules, but it might be a bit of a pain. Let me know how it works out, if you end up doing so. I just put mine in a bit of orange juice and jug it down :)

Claudia, I have a VitaMix. Is that going to be enough to make my glutathione liposomal? Would blending it at full speed for longer periods of time be helpful? I will be careful to not let the temperature go over 36 C or 96.8 F.
I think you will get a good mixture, as long as you make sure the temperature stays under 36 C.

Greetings, I was wondering if this recipe could be used for making a suppository or if it would need to be adjusted?
Hi, thank you for being here. No, I don’t think this recipe would work for suppositories. First of all it is too runny, and secondly, I don’t know if I would want those particular ingredients in a suppository. However, I’m sure you could find a recipe for a glutathione suppository somewhere online.

Thank you dear heart for your valuable information on glutathione and liposomal glutathione and it's benefit to the human body. I do take NAC on a regular basis when is the best time to take it? Is it best to take it on an empty stomach or with food? And is there a complimentary nutritional supplement to take with it to further enhance the benefits of NAC?
Hi Peter, thank you for your very kind comment. I too take NAC daily and personally take it on an empty stomach. I do think it might be a bit more powerful that way, but if it upsets your stomach you can take it with food. I take mine first thing in the morning. As far as other supplements to take with it, I do think NAC works well on its own, but you could always combine it with the occasional glutathione, vitamin c or other antioxidants.
Wishing you a very happy and healthy 2023

This is what I did. I had limited time, so I put my blender with the mix into my freezer. It did not freeze of course because I was careful to take it out after 30 minutes. Then I blended it for 10 minutes, making sure that the temperature did not get even noticeable. I did this 9 times. When I was finished, I put it into a jar and into the refrigerator. When I was finished making it, my blender had plenty of liposomal glutathione in it because the stuff is sort of thick and doesn't come clean completely out of the blender. I didn't want to waste it. So I used that "dirty" blender to make my OMAD smoothie of kefir, eggs, blueberries, lemon juice, etc. etc. etc.
How do we know if we got liposomal glutathione? Taste?
Sounds like you did a great job making your liposomal glutathione
To know for sure if it is liposomal, you would have to test it in a lab, but it sounds like you achieved it
Have a great weekend
Hi Claudia! I’d love to make lipo glutathione and C at home but we don’t keep alcohol in the house due to addiction issues. Is there a brand you recommend for purchase? Or a different alcohol-free recipe? Thanks so much for sharing with us all!
Hi Sara, it is lovely to hear from you.
You know, I have not come across a home made recipe not using alcohol. But I just found this one on amazon, which is alcohol free
www.amazon.com/Nutrient-Tree-Liposomal-Setria-Glutathione/dp/B008KZ3UJ0
If you wanted to try home made, you could try replacing the alcohol with glycerin of xantham gum, but I can not promise you it will work. The purpose of the alcohol is really to emulsify and mix the fat and water. I am not sure glycerin will do the trick, but it is worth a shot. Most of the store bought once I have seen contain alcohol, unfortunately. I am not sure how the once that don't get an emulsification, but they might have some process that helps with that.
I hope this helps. I am sorry I do not have a recipe for you without it, but hopefully the product above will work, or maybe you will try playing around with glycerin. If so, please keep us posted. I will also keep trying to find an alternative
Have a great day
xo
P.s
If you try using glycerin, I would probably increase the percentage to 12%. Right now the alcohol is 4%, but originally it was 12%. So I would go to 12%, and deduct the extra fluid from the water.
I hope that makes sense
@@claudiaglows Yes, thanks so much!

Wow, I was give the tablets to consume after my laser with my Korean doctor. Didn’t know I probably didn’t get the benefits at all since it breaks down so easily. Have you heard of ASEA water? It is mean for cell to cell communication and I have been taking it for several years now. Lots good reviews. I personally benefit from it. It helps with Glutathione. Also, I do coffee enema sometimes it helps to detox my liver. I love doing it. It is so therapeutic 💖
Hi Amelia, I have not heard of the ASEA water, but will def. look into it. I used to do coffee enemas as well, quite a while ago, and you are right, they feel wonderful. I am happy to hear they are helping you.

@@claudiaglows Yeah I love doing them but life is crazy busy with remote learning and kids all that. So I do it once in many weeks lol. And use the left over organic coffee ground to scrub my body after that.
Can you explain what the ultrasonic machine is doing? Is it making the lipids surround the glutathione? Will warmth do the same thing? Just wondering about whether a sous vide machine would do the same thing...
Hi Susan, thank you so much for being here. The ultasonic cleaner uses sonication to promotes the formation of liposomes, as well as reduces the size of the liposomes, making them more bioavailable. So the action of the blender helps some, since it helps emulsify, and you will get a bit of an encapsulation that way, but the ultrasonic cleaner takes it to the next level.
I am not sure what a sous vide is, but be careful to not get the mixture to warm, as the glutathione might degrade.
I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions
Wishing you a wonderful weekend

Hi Claudia, how do you think of glutathione powder from bulk supplements? I read many negative reviews from amazon.
Hi, thank you so much for being here. That is really hard for me to judge. What are the bad reviews about? Efficacy or purity? If it is about efficacy, then I would say it probably stems from glutathione being very difficult to absorb in powder capsule form. I truly believe it is best to be taken either liposomal or injections
If they are about purity, I will try to find a supplier who does third-party testing. I hope this helps, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have more questions. Wishing you a wonderful week
@@claudiaglows thanks for the reply. Most reviews said about the quality has changed significantly from years ago.
Anyway I started making liposomal vit c after watching your video :)
Hi! Loving your videos! Just one question... I ve been following every single step, even the ultrasonic cleaner... and I end up getting a bottom layer with the water totally splitted of the rest. Not sure what im doing wrong
Hi, thank you for you kind comment! I am sorry your mixture separated. That is very strange. Did you use liquid lecithin instead of powder? Did the ultrasonic machine get too hot at any point? How long did you blend it for?
These are all the things I can think of that could possibly go wrong. But since you said you followed every step, it is really strange that the mixture separated. I honestly never had that happen.
@@claudiaglows Hi Claudia! Thank you so much for taking the time to replay! I think the problem is the Lecithin, mine looks like a thiner powder than yours. I ll try with the granulate version. Many thanks again!

Hi. Just watched your q/a about the liposomal vitamin c. I wanted to ask, is there a certain methodology one should use, or a common ratio one would use if they also want to make lipo zinc, curcumin, magnesium, even milk thistle lipo? I can find recipes for vitamin c and now glutathione, but Im still wondering if I wanted to make zinc, or magnesium lipo how much of each would I choose? Is it always this much lecithin this much vodka. Hope that made sense.
Hi, that is a really great question, and on I have tried to find the answer to as well. Unfortunately I have not been able to find it. I did try making liposomal magensium with this recipe and it tasted so bad, I could not bring myself to use it. If I find further information, I will def. update you
@@claudiaglows lol thanks. If it tasted so bad, does that mean it wasnt still beneficial? Or you just couldnt handle it enough? I have seen like Lipo Zinc on amazon etc, but you can never grasp the recipe from the bottle. :)
@@claudiaglows So how much magnesium did you use? Was it this exact same recipe same amount of mag as the gluta? And the same the rest. I want to try. lol
Yes. I used the same amount of everything. Give it a try, and let us know how it comes out please
Thank you Claudia! What is the function of the lecitin?
Hi Kajisa, thank you so much for being here! The lecithin encapsulates the glutathione, making it liposomal. It is rich in phospholipids, which closely resemble a cell membranes, therefore making it easily absorbable. I hope this helps. Thank you again for being here, wishing you a wonderful weekend

Great video, Claudia! You gave such a comprehensive overview of glutathione. I made liposomal vitamin C with glutathione with your recipe and it is nice and thick. I love it! I use to buy liposomal vitamin C, glutathione, and magnesium, but it is expensive... Thank you very much for your help, I am making it myself now! Buy the way, do you have a recipe to make liposomal magnesium?
Hi Valentina
Thank you so much for bring here, and for your sweet comment.
Yes, liposomal nutrients are so expensive. I am glad to hear you are making your own now, and that they are coming out well.
You know, I tried to make some liposomal magnesium not too long ago, abs it tasted so horrible, I threw it out. I have to work a bit in the recipe for that one, but will keep trying. Have you tried magnesium oil?
I hope you are having a great weekend

Does it lighten the skin?
I wonder if a glutathione suppository would be a better delivery method. For better absorption/assimilation. I've read that even liposomal glutathione does not get absorbed well. I've seen some videos of home made glutathione suppository. Has anyone tried making? It would have to be kept in frig/freezer. May try to make it.
Hi, thank you for being here. I would def. be curious about this, so please keep us posted if you try it
Have a great day
dear Claudia... is it possibble to change the alcohol/vodca? any advice?
Hi, I have seen some people use glycerin. But, I am honestly not sure it works the same way. The alcohol is just as an emulsifier, as well as preservative.
This recipe has a very low percentage of alcohol, only 4%, where as most store bought brands are 12%
But I completely understand if you are trying to avoid alcohol at any percentage
You could try replacing it with glycerin. If you do, please let me know what happens

I never heard about glutathione! 🤦🏻♀️ So interesting! I don’t know if it is time for me to start taking it, because I already sleep like the sleepiest of babies 😂😂😂. I am kidding. For how long have you been taking it? Are you feeling something different? Thank you for sharing these DIY recipes. I am sure they are better than most of what you can find out there. Hello beautiful ❤️
I think glutathione is something many are not aware of, yet it is so important
I think if you eat plenty of the foods I mentioned, you are doing good. I know you take great care of yourself
I was taking it regularly a few years ago, and along with the liposomal c, it allows me to get if all my asthma meds.
I stopped taking it for a while, not sure why, but quite a few viewers had asked me to make a video on it, and it got me into taking it again.
Where we live we are exposed to a ton of environmental toxins, so I am glad I started taking it again.
I hope you are doing well, gorgeous. I always so enjoy reading your thoughtful comments ❤️

1:12 Hello Claudia. Do you keep it in the fridge once you finish preparing it ?
Hi, yes you want to keep the finished product in the fridge
Hi Claudia, Are you saying that all NAC supplements are liposomal?
Hi John
I actually only mention NAC very briefly as a precursor to Glutathione. But no, NAC is not liposomal nor is all Glutathione liposomal. But in my humble opinion I think that liposomal Glutathione is a much better way to go than taking it in pill form
Hi Gorgeous Claudia! This was interesting and thanks for taking us into your lab today. Would it be beneficial in skin care and what kinds of benefits have you seen taking it internally? Wishing you a lovely day and weekend, and as always I so appreciate you! xo P.S. my dental procedure was yesterday and so far, so good :).
Hello beautiful Christine, it is always lovely to see your thoughtful comments pop up. I definitely think glutathione taken internally can be beneficial for the skin. It is a powerful antioxidant, so it helps with free radical protection, and some say it helps with skin lightening or brightening. And since it helps recycle vitamin C, you should also be beneficial for the skin, since vitamin C of course is crucial for collagen production. I have been taking it on and off, And just started taking it regularly again, but when I took it very regularly for a while, I definitely noticed improvement with inflammation like my asthma. In combination with the liposomal vitamin C, it does wonders for me.
I think it can also be beneficial, applying and externally, since again it is quite a powerful antioxidant.
I am so glad to hear your dental procedure went well! Please keep me posted on how you feel. I was like she supposed to get a tooth extracted on Wednesday, but I canceled the appointment, since it’s not a bit rushed, and I would rather get a second opinion. Sending lots of love your way, and hope you continue to feel well, as I said please keep me updated

Dear Claudia is making something liposomal means that you microencapsulating an active ingredient? Do you have any idea how can I achieve microencapsulation in a powder form instead of liquid form? I am completely new to this area I just started to make a research. My idea is to create a microencapsulated active ingredient in a powder form which I can add to my skin care product. Basically I wish to create a homemade microencapsulated retinol a powder
Hi, I’m very sorry, but unfortunately I do not know how to make a liposomal product to be used externally. I do however, believe you can probably look it up on the Internet and probably find a video on it. Please keep me posted. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

Hi Claudia, is Liposomal Glutathione is the same as L-Glutathione (reduced) ? I try to buy it online, but I only find L-Glutathione (reduced)
Hi, no L-glutathione is just glutathione in powder form. Liposomal glutathione is encapsulated in fat. It might be hard to find liposomal glutathione on line, but you can make your own, as I do in this video

@@claudiaglows Thanks, I'll see if I can.
How does NAC compare with liposomal glutathione? I sprinkle 1/3 teaspoon NAC over my meal. So, can we clarify the benefit of encapsulation?
Hi Arthur, NAC is a great supplement as well. It is a precursor to glutathione. Having the glutathione encapsulated, is to protect it from stomach acid (regular supplements of glutathione just get broken down in the stomach) and assures it gets where it needs to go.
Some say it is better to take NAC, as to not interfere with the bodies feedback loop (so it does not stop producing glutathione), others prefer some straight glutathione in liposomal or injection here and there.
I hope this helps
Have a great day
I made your exact recipe. It is very thick and unpleasant to drink. It also upsets my stomach for hours. I'd like to know if it can be thinned out with more water. I tryed mixing it with cherry juice which helps a bit to get it down easier. Also, would it be a problem to drink it after I have some food in my stomach? My stomach is very sensitive. Please answer because I have bought 3 large containers of the lethicin, VC crystals & a ultrasonic cleaner. $$$. I would be very upset if this turned out I can't take it.
Hi Karen, it is def. not a good tasting nor smelling mixture :). I would not thin it our more, but instead put it in some juice as you have done. But yes, you can def. have it after some food, and I do think that will help your stomach.

I have a question. What do you think about liposomal glutathione supplements?
Hi, as you see from this video, I am a big fan of them. I think it’s a good way to get her on the absorption issue.

That is a great suggestion. However, some people, like myself, can not handle NAC. It is however a great supplement
