      @OMGFirestarter Před 4 lety +53

      I know exactly what you mean, I've come across this phenomenon myself. Some people suffer from low self worth and will sabotage their own health because at some unconscious level, they don't feel they deserve to be healthy. It can be a form of deeply repressed guilt they picked up when they were younger. They don't realise they're doing it, and when you tell them, they think you're being absurd. But through hypnosis or NLP you can usually find the root cause of it, and it's usually something really simple and stupid, but it still affected them.

    Great video. Very informative. Are there any studies validating that claim that the foods you listed "boost" Glutathione? I ask because a frequent trope of the health industry is to just assume that eating the part or precursors of any given molecule will somehow trigger your body into making more of it.
    But generally speaking, this only works if you are experiencing a reduction in the target molecule specifically on account of a nutrient deficiency. Correcting that deficiency can bring you back up to baseline. But adding more of these parts and precursors (like sulphur) beyond that, typically doesn't result in increased production above baseline levels. What about in the case of glutathione? Will your body produce more glutathione just because it has a surplus of sulphur? Cheers.

    @WuWeiMama The largest obstacle to increasing natural Glutathione production seems to be unsufficent consumption of the amino acids Cystine/Cysteine as these appear quite scarcely in the foods we eat (I believe mostl richly in unprocessed milk and mother's milk).
    While a few of the other precursors do occur regularly in many of the foods you named, they unfortunately do not have an effect in increasing Glutathione if they are lacking in Cysteine, which seems to be the case in most foods.

    @Rurne I think everyone is a lot different.. I had issues that weren't getting helped by conventional methods and were torturing me for years. 5 days into taking NAC, i noticed a huge drop in my anxiety alone. I've been taking a supplement now with NAC in it along w some other amino acids and cordyceps (helps recycle used glutathione taht you use) and I feel better than I've ever felt before so to me, it's a life saver. Keep in mind, i spent years trying to get better

    I was taking NAC (which converts to glutathione iirc) but it was giving me really bad histamine reactions. I was getting flushed and red in the face and "hivey" and it took me about a week to realize it wasn't hay fever but was being caused by NAC. I went on Amazon and read some reviews by other customers of the supplement who reported similar reactions, so if you do start taking it, just be aware of possible adverse reactions. You can take glutathione as a supplement as well but I recall reading the bioavailability is lower than with NAC.

    Antioxidants are the most important things to prevent cell and DNA damage from free radicals. Free radicals are atoms and molecules that lose an electron and try to steal one from a normal one, which causes sever damage to lipid by layers (cell membranes) and DNA.

    @Rurne Yes but people who have taken drugs, alcohol etc have lowered their levels and you don't just create it that simple. You actually would need to take things like NAC. I was chronically ill for a very long time.. Nothing worked, not even meds. The only thing that got me better was raising my glutathione levels. Because of this, I am a damn firm believer in what he's saying about how important glutathione is and how sometimes your body can't just manufacture it that fast or easy
