Keep exploring more of whole North East it says my experience where ever u may travel from north himalaya to down south of kerala Arabian sea but in the lower range of himalaya the eight sister states is no compare to any other northern India coz if u see the Air, water n people are unique and it is totally different in terms of flora n fauna. So iam proud to be an Indian Naga...Jai Bharat.

Great that you are doing Nagaland. It is not an area that many Indians go to. And as a result, most are ill informed.
The state has a rich history, and very interesting culture.
Their Hornbill festival is quite famous and showcases it's culture.
Understandably, the food choices of the locals are a little strange, but their dried fish and pork preparations are awesome.
Maybe the frogs mice, crickets etc may not be attractive, however, they have many other items of great interest in their cuisine. They use very little masala and quite a few healthy greens.
In New Delhi s Dilli Haat, the Naga thali, is a very popular one at Nagaland Kitchen.
In fact, now they have two outlets, because of popularity.
