- First day of the Andaman tour was started by visiting Ross island and Munda Mahadi near Chidiya Tapu. This is a 7 episode series of Adaman group of islands,

We shot this video on 10th October 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.
Following are the activities that we did during the day.
South Point - This is the popular place in port blair, where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted our National Flag in 1943 in India.
Ross Island, - We proceeded to our next sightseeing spot of our day, boarded an exclusive speedboat - Rs 3700 to Ross Island, now known as Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep. Which used to be the administrative headquarters of the British during their rule. After India got independence this island was handed over to the Indian Navy. This island used to be around 200 acres after 1941 due to the earthquake it is now 70 acres.
In this island we met with Anuradha Ji who guided us, briefed us about the historical activities that took place on this island during British time.
Aberdeen Bazaar - After this we went to this bazaar which also has historic connections. Hotel kattabomman which is known for south indian pure vegetarian - we ordered curd rice - Rs 70. This restaurant is around 50 years old located in portblair.
Chidiya Tapu - which is around 28 km from portblair. During this we were badly impacted by rain, we wanted to do a trek of 1.5 km which gives you the bird eye view of the sea. Going through the forest without a guide is not advisable. Munda Pahar is the starting point where you start the trek visiting hours 10am to 3pm.
Munda Padad is a beautiful trek located a distance of about 1.5 km from Chidiya Tapu.
Level of difficulty - Low. for this trek.
Then after that we reached our hotel, we booked Hornbill nest which is govt. Hotel.

Ross Island had a board showing direction to Faraar beach. Guess that was the place from where Vir Savarkar plunged into the ocean to escape. Missed seeing that place.

One of the best videos of Visa2Explore till date 👍. Very informative - I don't think any other vlogger has so far provided so much information about Ross Island or Andaman in general, the maximum they show is Jail, beaches and resort they stay in. Really impressed!
Hello sir the adamant series is very nice, we really admire madam anuradha rao, the way she explained everything was amazing and appreciate her for taking care of so many deers and squirrel s and peacocks so well. She is a real environmentalists, the govt should support her financially to help her take care of so many animals and bird and we can see in the videos they love her so much. Really appreciate her hardwork and love for animals and birds. The scenery is very beautiful and loved the vlog.

Even she spoke about veer savarkar struggles for our country against Britishers, some of our politicians who had spoken wrong for veer savarkar, should come and listen to this lady. Beaches and Water activities are always interesting and fun part; it was an eye opener knowing the freedom fighter Veer Savarkar & nicely explained by Anuradha madam; always had a guess that tamilians & keralites may be in A&N islands but surprised to know bengalis are more.
