They need to buy control wards, it's Korean law to make the game playable for other regions during international tournaments.
Imo that would make them stronger. LCK teams are gonna buy 4 wards every time, then they figure out that buying 30 wards at 10 minutes is a bad idea, so they tone it down and get the perfect amount

Finding a good place for control wards:
1: Place them in the layer of the map behind the frontline. The frontline is fluid based on which side is ahead and thus has map CONTROL, hence the name. This denies information via deep vision, so the enemy team is unable to predict rotations and skirmishes.
2. Place them where the enemy team are unable to clear them. The enemy has to commit time to 4 attacks to destroy it, meaning they are threatened by being collapsed on. At worst they clear the ward and have to recall thus giving up map pressure, and at best they dont destroy the ward, give summs, ults, give kill and assist gold, bait the rest of their team to help them who then also use resources, and give up map pressure.
3. Place them as if they are misplaced in order to bait an enemy into a ambush. These are the most difficult as you have to consider champions in the game, their items, their location, game time, and all kinds of other contextual things like scouting tools, AA resets etc.
4. Place them if your team has no available sweeper and to conceal a neutral objective's HP value and your team's exact positions to prevent steals and a worse teamfight standing, providing these are legitimate concerns to avoid coinflips over crucial objective or teamfights IE: not the first cloud dragon of the game as blue side and your team has bigger burst.
5. Place them to clear 3+ wards that are in the same area for some reason. Slight nuance if multiple players are killing the wards so the gold is spread out meaning the person who placed the control ward is down in gold but the team overall is up.
How to know you're placing them wrong? How many are you buying and why isnt that number 1 or 2?

Great points, but I would say the number can be 4-5. Even a well placed control ward can be destoyed sometimes, and especially because the frontline will shift based on if you are winning or losing, you will have to move your control ward once or twice

as support i'd say you want to average around 0.3 controlwards per minute of the game, specially if the enemy is very actively warding and clearing out wards, it is also elo dependant, the lower elo you are, the less your teammates will ward, the more you will have to make up the difference for that.

I assume it's because as a support you would normally keep your yellow trinket until you unlock the wards on your support item. Because he trolled with his stacks the sight stone was so delayed and he probably just waited on autopilot for it's unlock to change trinkets....

As someone who plays roaming twitch support him not going all in on AP is suicide on twitch support. It's an all or nothing gamble you have to rush ap damage or die. Watching him rush AS so he can do ZERO damage and have no slow shows he has no idea what he is doing.

If you play it right and can get a blasting wand on first back the game is basically over due to your max stack E pop doing about 300~ damage. As long as the lane you gank engages the enemy is dead. Combined with the massive slow that scales with ap on his pool. he's one of the most annoying roaming supports. That being said like you pointed out it's niche and it's all or nothing play. If you get behind early you become completely useless and while super late game you have a possibility of coming back most games end before that.

Conventional wisdom is currently that the more control wards you buy, the better. This was one of my early issues when I began making Vlad. Luckily Calvin informed me of the error of my ways and my winrate is now like 65% on Vlad

As a main support, I buy three pinks per game top. I mean there is no use for it if you can't defend it or that it get spotted right of the bat. It's just a waste of gold. That and the fact that you are not particulary rich while playing this role

@@nigamnation Even without hail of blades considered, dagger (by **itself**) is quite possibly the worst basic item to buy outside of berserkers rush - which LS mentions in this video too. However even that is very irrelevant as many players in this game run Magical Footwear anyway.

So I don't play Support Twitch, I only play adc (I fucking HATE ap Twitch, I think it's so unfun to play), but I'll still try and answer. I don't think it would work because the time window is too short. 3 seconds is not enough time, at least early, for Twitch to get a reasonable amount of damage off, so HoB just helps more because not only will it likely do more damage early, it will easily get all three charges of spectral sickle used up. So that's why I would think first strike wouldn't be as good for him.

It's not extra gold. The gold is taken away from the killing of the ward. And you have to ping it or attack it.
It takes 5g from the total 30g, so you get 5g for revealing plus 25g for killing

twitch support seems like the result of bad game design, instead of intentional design.
honestly this seasons changes have been horrendous. Jungle getting totally babified, ADCs popping up in support roles, tank items out of control, im not sure how long theyve had balance teams for each position but it feels like theyre not seeing the game from a broad enough perspective.
ive lost so many games very awfully to twitch support,ganking me in mid from lvl 1 through the entire game,and then their jungler coming if i ever have any chance to breathe.Twitch support is The most toxic,pathetic and disgusting mistake ever done in the game,appallingly dystopic how it still exists in this god forsaken shitty game,and people who play it must really re think what it is they are doing.

I don't understand the reasoning behind "Twitch doesn't need Magic Pen". His E, being his main damage source when building AP, literally has a 35% AP Ratio magic damage per stack of venom. Assuming you generally use E when the enemy has at least 4 stacks, that's 140% AP Ratio in worst case scenario. When having AP support item and adaptive runes, you already have 17 AP, meaning that your E will deal an extra 25 magic damage at level 1. You have no way to proc Cheap Shot at level 1 unless Sejuani is there, therefore the extra Pen you get from Sudden Impact is obviously a better choice.
Let's look at the situation when Twitch gets Nashor's Tooth. Assuming some extra AP from support item + Zombie Ward, Twitch should have roughly 160 AP at that time, meaning that his E at 4 stacks deals an extra 224 damage. Twitch would be roughly level 9 at that point, meaning that Cheap Shot would deal 26 true damage. Instead, with the 7 MPen, you'd get roughly the same damage value especially against targets with lower MR, and if we add in the extra value on Nashor's autoattacks and the Lethality it gives (which augments the power of AAs with R especially), it grants so much more damage.

Cheap shot is broken on the right champ, and twitch can easily make use of it. Ashe is where it's just a busted af rune, but it's still great here.
If you are the guy not buying control wards and a team mate of yours get caught (even if it's purely his fault), you'll get blamed. It's that simple.

LS not realising that as a support. Sharing xp for 60g on your is not worth it for laners. Or having the 5ap extra might be difference between kill or not, this is LCK. Not LCS. Kills are rarer, so 2 stacks is harder to come by. The 5 ap will relieve more pressure or give more pressure to his laners, which as a support is more your job. Make their life easier not harder. The hp is not that needed, as look at his hp lowest. Never close as he just poke and out. Plus the vision is super important as this is partly why their is low kills in LCK. With junglers being so mobile hopping over walls as the please. Covering 1 way into the lane until it is pathed through can be the difference between top dying and top living. This not only stops +400gold to enemy. But also stops top lane falling behind in XP and gold (minions dying to turret). Which top lane champs being so OP at the moment. Investing in them keeping them safe and scaling, is better than having a bit extra gold or xp on yourself, as you are a support. Not a conventional one either. As no cc. But you are right with some runes. With hail of blades and how you playing the game, I don't think you ever go boots first though. As you just poking with hail up until first first team fight.
