I’m going into the army at the beginning of the year and it’s one of my wife’s biggest fears is me coming home missing limbs or a flag coming to our front door, I tell her I’m doing it for the kids regardless, and I’m doing it for myself, and for our fallen soldiers, I’m scared, but who isn’t? If I lost a limb I can atleast find help in a new community of friendly people that have experienced the same or close to the same. I love this channel and I’m not an amputee, but I do really look up to every single one of you and I guess that’s why. You guys are strong as hell!
This is really cool. I wish i would have had some easy way to video all the prosthetics that were made for me. The fact that i was born without legs means that the distal end of my limb is shaped a little different. They're not uniform like other amputees. So with that it is hard to get the sockets made just right. The guys that made my prosthetics are geniuses. Most of the people that fabricate these are very smart and creative. Thanks for sharing this video.

I like that man's "can do" attitude. Most people would sit on their butts and cry, "Woe, is me"; but, a REAL man says, "I've got a family to provide for and I don't have time to sit on my ass" then gets up and gets back to work! 👐
Amazing. Very good you are sensitive to the feel, when you are trying it out so the alignment can be adjusted to your best walk possible. Yes, good it breaths so you don't sweat so much. You have helped others so much with your tutorials, whether you realize it or not. GOD YAHWEH bless you and your family the Drs., the prosthetic guys, computer guys and rehab. people because yaw all have a part in teaching and helping others. Truly amazing. ❤

My father in law just lost his left leg hes still going through the process of getting everything fine tuned and comfortable its took like 2 years and thats with one led i couldn't imagine both legs. OK so I just thought of something that's driving me nuts. I'm a veteran with a service connected disability. I have a circulation issue that one day might cost me my legs. My question is is can you snorkel or dive with your prosthetics??
As a citizen of TENSEC (The Evil Northern Socialist Empire of Canada 🇨🇦), where we have universal healthcare, I’m curious as to who’s covering the bills for your prosthetics?
I don’t know if it’s the angle of camera, but each part needs an extension about 4 inches. This would raise your height about 8 inches all together and the legs wouldn’t look short. But I’m no expert in prosthetics, I am someone who had to study anatomy and proportions. If there’s a reason behind the length then just ignore this, and again it could just be the camera angle.
