The man of many talents.
This living room looks cozy!! love it!
Thank you!! 😊
I got mine last week. OMG i could never go back to my 34 inch ultra wide. it's a great monitor but this one is so much better for my needs. Great video! Thanks for your input. it helped me to make my purchase. :)
I want to take it too, I would use it to play, movies, youtube and to surf the internet... do you recommend it?
hi, how you finding the ppi, my biggest worry coming from a 34" acer 21:9
@@Accondahonestly I’m holding out for a design revision with better ppi
I’m glad that you’re happy with it for gaming.
Thank you.
Great video. Just ordered this monitor and excited to get it!
Congratulations
monitor looks flawless imo
I will have one by the end of Nov..... Great Review!
Thank you.
I love it cuz, the details are on point!!

Congrats on 9k followers! 🎉
Thank you sir.
Idk what it is but I really enjoy your vibe man. Subscribed!
Brother put some affiliate links in these descriptions so I can support you when I make a purchase!
I thank you.
Max Luv for real.
I have the exact same black gaming chair. A really good gaming chair 👊🏿
I have the 27” version and love it! Will be my go to monitor until they release a 4K 32” oled glossy.
Now THIS is a gaming monitor. 💯

I have this monitor and love it. Using DLDSR when playing single player story driven games. Very immersive
I also love it. Have you tried it on PORTRAIT MODE? It's awesome!
@@cinqo7 I have not! Tempted
I see the waves poppin player I see you 💪🏾
Max Luv, I’ll be back on braids in a minute lol.
New subscriber here! Just bout an LG ultra gear 24”! The 165hz is amazing on this!
Thanks and thank you for subscribing, we are about to hit 10k be sure to come back and voice how we can grow after you’ve dove into some of the content.
Am really liking that might get me one
I was looking at buying this. Searched on YT and my bro did the best video out there!
BTW, the reason for the "flat head" base screw, is to make it as tool-less as possible. The slot is actually designed for a coin. Not every gamer has tools, but they all got coins!
Thanks for showing us all about the 45gr95qe. I might just jump on it!
My brother! Max Luv homie!
Crazy I'm doing research on this monitor and your video pops up. I will be buying this one soon .

@@AllAboutTKK how is with multitasking on pc? Can I have multiple windows/tabs across the screen?
@jamesmorris7596 absolutely. Actually filming an updated review of this tonight which will be on the channel maybe Saturday. I bought two of these one for each of my sons.
@@AllAboutTKK I was hesitant because of others saying it's not good for pc productivity and windows. I appreciate the video and quick responses.
@@jamesmorris7596 of course, proof is in the pudding. I have two sons both 23 and 22, one is an aspiring content creator, so he’s got like 2-3 windows going at all times. I took them from 2 screens to 1, they were not feeling it until they tried it and been in love ever since.
Completely agree, they should have went w/ a higher resolution, especially considering the PPI for the 45in is under 100. Not the best for browsing, but immersive as hell for gaming.
Loving my 27GR95QE, the 27in variant of this monitor. The PPI is better for productivity/browsing & I pair it w/ a 42in C2 for 4K & general viewing. The matte coating you get used to, especially in a light-controlled room, but would’ve preferred glossy.
The real winner is coming late 2024, a 32in 4K 240hz monitor w/ optional 480hz 1080p. It’ll be a beast!!
Got damn, that’s gone be the one!
Hey TKK! What’s a good monitor for SF6?? Preferable 1080p or 1440p for my weak graphics card haha. 🙏 and that is 240hz for overwatch sweat😅
I picked this monitor up too and it is sick for the immersion factor, the size is incredible!
MLA is already confirmed on it. Not sure how much it's helping the brightness though. Doesn't seem like LG is pushing the panel super hard compared to the C2 42" so perhaps MLA is being utilized to increase the longevity of the panel. It doesn't have the peak brightness and color volume of the the QD-OLED panel like the AW3423DW, but I think the size makes up for that if that is one's preference because it still looks great!
One thing I think you might like trying out with this monitor since you have a 4090 is DLDSR. Using that Nvidia feature to render the game at proper 4k ultrawide resolution of 5160x2160 and downscale to the monitor's resolution helps increasing sharpness in the game to help compensate for the lower PPI. Use the monitor's remote and go into the general settings and under input compatibility you select 1.4. Then in Nvidia control panel under manage 3D settings enable DSR factors 1.78 and 2.25. This limits the monitor to 144Hz but I think it's worth it for single player games. Then you can always switch back to 1.4 DSC if you want the 240Hz for online fps. Combining DLDSR with DLSS quality and Frame Generation was even letting me play Cyberpunk all settings maxed Path Tracing at 80+ fps lol.
TFT Central already reported that LG Display is planning a 5120x2160 165Hz version of this 45" monitor with higher brightness in 2025 and that has me extremely excited! tftcentral.co.uk/news/monitor-oled-panel-roadmap-updates-march-2023
Thanks! I’m going to check out this feature.
I wouldn't be too excited about the 165 Hz model The 240 Hz refresh rate of this model makes a huge difference. 120 Hz sucks for OLED. 165 Hz is not bad but nothing special. 120 Hz OLED still has terrible motion clarity like LCD because the sample-and-hold method that both OLED and LCD unfortunately use are the bottleneck regardless of how much faster the pixel response times of the OLED are. Starting at around 170 or 180 Hz and beyond, the refresh rate starts getting high enough where the sample-and-hold bottleneck becomes ess and you can finally start seeing the true motion-clarity potential of OLED pixel response times while that potential is hidden or "masked" at refresh rates under that.
I've done many tests of my LG 45GR95QE-B at 120, 144, 160, 175, 180, 200, and 240 Hz. At anything less than somewhere around 170 Hz or so, OLED looks about just as terrible - motion blur wise - as LCD. At 240 Hz, and with this panels' extremely fast pixel response times, the motion blur looks around the same as a very fast LCD at somewhere between 360 and 480 Hz.
Hey TKk,
the monitor looks awesome!
But I think this Monitor already has MLA built in to push it to sufficient brightness levels that were lacking in the past. Only with MLA they were able to start building monitors like this at all. At least that’s what I have heard.
Keep up the good content!
Thank you.
as an actual owner I can confirm this monitor is bright enough. the colors rendition is great
@@cinqo7how's the pixel density work out, noticeable, reduces sharpness or is it OK?
@@MegaVinny73 the pixel density IS noticeable if you've been working with 2160p or 1600p monitors...
Hi Bro, my congrats for your presentation and expertise. I would like to ask you if, in your opinion, the horizontal lines in the case of an architectural drawing, can be too optically deviated. Consider that I have a 34" 1000r monitor and I have no problems. Thanks a lot and good work.
Thank you.
I don’t think it’s too bad, to answer your question.
Very good video! I got a 880€ deal and decided to go with it.
Congratulations
Three of my Best Buys had open box in excellent condition, so check there first! Got one for $1250
Very nice!
OLED displays closely follow the Blur Busters Law, and 240Hz means 4ms of persistence (because 1000ms/240~4ms) What that means is that you'll get 4 pixels of motion blur when moving at 1000 pixels per second (ufo test at 960 pixels per second will take 4 seconds to cover screen width because 3840/4=960). Changing the speed of the UFO test to 240pps will show 1 pixel of motion blur which is ideal at normal viewing distance. The LG C1 and CX OLED at 120fps using OLED motion pro Medium will have the same motion clarity as this monitor but losing, at least, half the brightness based on the Talbot-Plateau's Law
Knowledge is power.
Max Luv.
@@AllAboutTKK It took me a lot to understand motion clarity. It is my #1 favorite topic.
NERD!
What would be the closest comparison to 60hz BFI? My C2 has it & I’ve been playing locked 60hz w/ BFI on it.
@@CarnivoryHODL 60fps/Hz OLED motion ON on the C2 looks exactly as 120fps because the TV is actually running at 120Hz and inserting a black frame in between the 60 frames reducing the persistence in half to 8.3ms
just got the monitor and it truly is an experience! The size was my only concern being a competitive fps shooter who plays on a 390hz at 1080p, but the speed of this being oled and 240hz, the clarity is unreal, let alone the immersion when you sit fairly close as the side bezels just disappear as if you are in VR.
This comment was well articulated! We have been loving it in my house. As I gave this one to my son and wife has been enjoying the second one we got. Planning on doing an updated review on how it’s been going.
@@AllAboutTKKit’s not a very good monitor that’s probably why you didn’t keep it for yourself.
@@ariyanshaikh4907Yeah, it's so bad he bought a second one. smdh
@@ckdontes I have one and I regret buying it because you can see the pixels from close up, there is another oled monitor called the odyssey G9 which is much better than this one. At the time it was priced higher than this but It went on sale on Black Friday. If I waited I could have had a better monitor for cheaper.
Damnnnnnn bro, another monitor?! You got that long money!😂 Good review…👍
Max Luv. Shit I sold my UW from a couple years ago, damn near paid for this one lol.
@@AllAboutTKK buy me one too sir 😂
@@kod-5901 shit lol.
with vivid enabled it turns off DAS if that matters to you at all. Put it on a monitor arm and you can save that space the stand takes up
This monitor isn’t going on this room. Another setup.
I currently have the 42 inch C2 as my main. Just ordered this from Best Buy for 999 which is honestly the only reason why I bought it. I love the C2 but the 120hz is a deal breaker for me. Im really interested to see your take on an Oled TV vs this. Thanks.
Max Luc.
@@AllAboutTKK Picked it up today and damn its a beautiful monitor. But i can tell it will take some time for my eyes to adjust to the low PPI. But overall its a new gaming experience. Feels awesome to try some old titles on this.
Do you prefer this or C2 for PC gaming?
@AllAboutTKK what keyboard and mouse were you using in this video?
Nice Monitor God Bless you and your family I can’t wait until the Lord bless me again with those TVS and Monitor to purchase whenever I decide to buy, cool video TK
It’s coming. Just stay down until it’s time for you to be up.

@@AllAboutTKK I Receive it Brother in Jesus
Immersive
Yes.
current monitor I am using its nice 240hz oled the only downside is I wish it was a little brighter but other than that I love it pro tip you can also use your lg magic remote to control the monitor just in case you don't want to use the one in the box that came with the monitor make sure you download the firmware update from lg as well the lg on screen display application on the website has the firmware software built in
Now that’s dope!
Get a $7 US service remote and you get access to 3 hidden settings which all improve brightness further. We've also figured out how to enable DSR / DLDSR while using full 240 Hz and with both HDMI and DP. This is the best gaming monitor on the market, PERIOD.
I got the remote. I’m tapped in, not just the buyer.
Max Luv brother.
Saw this monitor being sold open box at best buy for $1,087. Very tempting at that price, but the low PPI just killed it for me. I had seen this at another Best Buy a few weeks earlier up close and i could literally see the pixels from my normal viewing distance. I love everything else about it, but i knew id never be happy with it on my desk. Waiting on Samsungs 57 inch G9 in a couple months instead
Monitor fire as hell. I say that as a two time owner and I’m waiting on the 57” too.
I’m waiting for a revised version with a better ppi than what it has currently
Word.
Does the full wide aspect ratio option in the monitor settings help to stretch the cutscenes in games to avoid the black bars?
Not really. I think cut scenes look natural on this as that’s typically a wide screen movie type of deal anyway.
@AllaboutTKK how you finding the ppi on this monitor, I really would like it, just very nervous about the low ppi compared to my 34" 21:9, acer x34 IPS. thanks.
Not too bad. Love this monitor actually and everything about it now.
Really interested in this thing. Do you do any productivity work on this thing? I work from home so 50/50 work and play. Any thoughts on that side of the monitor?
None recorded that I can show but, this is a beast. Used for edits, photoshop for thumbs, also did a lot of PIP gaming/productivity.
How much does this monitor cost?
is there a protection film for the screen? Just got one but the screen doesn't appear to have one. I want to make sure i am not using it with a protection film.
No
Will I be able to set up speaker monitors to this to get sound out of my PC and PS5?
100%
Should I get this monitor or the Alienware 34 inch oled monitor im having a hard time deciding thanks
I think I’m the wrong one to ask, lol. I could have got the Alienware but I chose this one.
I hear people talk about the PPI. If you have two windows open side to side like an article and some WORD doc/excel. Is it really that bad to read the text?
Not in my opinion.
Very nice! Have you played any Apex on it? Hiw is the input lag?
Input latency on this thing is sweet. But I am not an Apex player.
These kill it for Racing Sims. So glad I got one over the 49" UW's. The extra vertical height gives u more view where you need it, and the detail and latency is unmatched at this size without NEEDING a 4090. Seriously, don't hinge your purchase of a niche gaming monitor on its ability to display 7pt fonts crystal clear...
Agreed.
Bro between this lg and samsung g9 which you think is a better choice for work and casual gaming? Thanks a lot
Which G9 we talking about?
I'm new to your channel. What graphics card are you using?
Depends on which pc.
Very nice What’s your gpu and cpu with the assassins creed gameplay ?
13900k and 4090
@@AllAboutTKK you think the 4080 super and 14700kf should perform well on this ? Because heard that ultra wide might drop some frames because it’s producing more picture
Yes.
REVIEW THIS COMMENT!
Time Stamps, use them. Watch time appreciated.
I don't just buy TV's, actually monitors are why I'm a tad more technical than the average TV review guy on the gaming space of things.
Any Support is appreciated now and always!
Max Luv.
Is there a film on the screen that needs to be removed??
Yes.
Hi, does it have speakers? can you add a soundbard?
No speakers. I covered the audio in the video.
How did the lights turn on in the back?
Manual via monitor.
What kind of HDMI are you using??
Doesn’t really matter what kind. What came with monitor.
How does it compare to a 4K monitor? Pixel density, image quality
Solid. Different experience entirely though due to it being UW,
@@AllAboutTKK yeah I bought the S95C but I was considering it just saw some negative reviews about the pixel density
@@cjcaton19 nah, people that know the UW know what to expect. It’s more for the mix of immersion and resolution clarity, vs max pixel count.
@@AllAboutTKK I'm ready to see what the G9 OLED has to offer when it comes out.
i have the Alienware dwf. I cant stand the reflective coating because i did get a small scratch on it. Thinking about this. 🤔
I feel ya, why I stayed away from that joint.
get those pcs off the floor my guy..... Great video btw
They are not on the floor. They are on wood, not carpet.
Also the case is the Hyte Y60, which means the PSU isn’t on the bottom but the side. Perfect position.
And thanks.
@@AllAboutTKK still dirt and dust is all over the floor no matter how many times we clean it. And you have fans on the bottom of that case. 2 to be exact that are now blowing whatever is in the floor into your pc. They have little tower crates that would be perfect for these. I know this case I’ve built in it many times for a few customers.
@@Forthepeople21 lol. The intake fan is on a piece of wood that is much wider than the case itself. It is impossible to avoid dirt or dust intruding. To be clear, it’s getting as much dust as if it were on a desk.
Your comment was because you assumed it was on the floor bare, and not everyone things about the Hyte not having conventional PSU and fan placement. I mean I guess I appreciate the advice but any man with two 4090 builds that are identical probably is confident in what he’s doing.
It’s harder to take criticism when the person offering help isn’t seeing the logic in the safe path taken.
Max Luv bruh.
Can you play a fighting-game on it, please😊
Sure.
I own this monitor and it has a SECRET WEAPON. It is the ability to be displayed in PORTRAIT MODE. You can do this with ANY monitor but with this monitor being so wide, the PORTRAIT mode is actually useful for work and even funny to play some games in that mode!
Dope! I’ll have to try it.
Anyone running a Rtx 4060 with this monitor?
4060, yikes. Not for this monitor, that’s not the responsible investment.
What are your pc specs?
Said in video
@@AllAboutTKK sorry could you just tell me i only wanted to see the unboxing and some gameplay on this monitor was considering getting it
@@jalenmatthew7796idk why he can’t just say it me for example “4080 super 14700kf cpu” EASY
13900k i9, 4090.
And to understand why you would have to work as hard as I do to make videos man, it ain’t something you will understand just commenting in videos, seriously. If I put the work in to show these things then get asked what’s in it, that’s more work.
You don’t have to understand but there is your reasoning why.
@@AllAboutTKK “that’s more work” to having the option to reply to a comment you didn’t have to reply too, asking what your PC specs are and in return saying “said in video” instead of saying that you could have just answered the question with “4090 13900k” 😂 great review though bro
The ppi is just so bad it kills it for me. 84 is really low
Nah bruh, it’s far from unbearable.
I have this monitor and had the AW3423DW before it, the PPI drop is noticeable but it's really not horrible at all.
Didn't mean it's unbearable just for me it's a deal breaker and I'm coming from a aw3424dw which has a ppi of around 110, which looks soft to me still. That's just me though
Ok that makes sense brother.
looks good but wayy overpriced
Overpriced who could say?
@@AllAboutTKK you can get an aw3423dwf and a 4070ti together for the same price as one of these at least where I live😭😭
The monitor isn't very bright.. and 100% white is horrid
Horrid? Lol. G3 got people minds messed up.
@@AllAboutTKK g3 I think does 250nit full 100% a bit better but I need like 4/500 100%
Hi TKK, did u have any problem with OLED pixel burning? I want to buy this one, coming from ASUS ROG 49", cause I think exactly the same about one little detail "I NEED"! :-)
Two of these in my home for my two adult children, both RTX 3090 pc gamers: no issues. I do have 4 year warranty in store on both so should there be an issue we would address from there.
