Tough workout! Love it, however! I thought it is highly Unrecommended to do behind the shoulders ANYTHING! You need to be very flexible & even then the risk of injury is Too high! If memory serves me correctly, you said the same thing yourself in one of your previous videos, Years ago. By all means, correct me if I’m wrong 😊👊

@@kenrickseegobin4030 I was referring to the barbell lift behind the neck. Most, if not All personal trainers advise not to do any behind the neck lifting as it places too much stress on your shoulders. There may be a few individuals who can handle such an unnatural move, however, it’s very Veeery, few.

I didn’t know moving your arms / shoulder in a upwards motion behind your neck is dangerous .
Behind the neck pressing can be done in 2 ways - safe and unsafe
Unsafe:
The bar is on your back and you pull your elbows back, so that they are pointing backwards, just like you would do on a squat. Your shoulder is internally rotated and this makes the press unsafe and can lead to a shoulder injury such as impingement.
Safe:
The bar is on your back, but you rotate your elbows so they are pointing forward. You now press from this position. And on the way down, you let the hands lead and the elbows travel in front of the bar, pointing forward. You are now pressing from an externally rotated position and this is absolutely safe. Simeon demonstrates good technique at 4:17 - notice how his elbows are pointing slightly forward. You need good shoulder mobility and also chest flexibility to do this.
