Man this night was so much fun. We headed out to Quaker City Motorsports Park in Salem Ohio with my sister Valerie and my Dad too! Valerie drove Uncle Rob in a previous video but she has never made a pass at a drag strip with it before, neither has Logan! My dad also earns his rookie stripes by racing some various vehicles in his 2017 Escalade ESV (powerstroke etc). Valerie even does some grudge racing antics in her own c300 Mercedes!

No top flight Craig, no tacos, but reminds me of my first time my Dad letting me take his 78 F250 460 and tech not passing the truck because of a missing battery hold down and my dad grabs a piece of rope from the bed and ties it down. Pretty cool having the fam and gf all excited at the track

Pink trim was a big minitruck fad in California around 1988. That's when I had a Suzuki Samurai, lowered, white with white grill and bumpers. I had touches of pink that I combined with lavender. I bought rolls of white vinyl pinstriping, stretched it between two trees, painted one roll each in the two colors and did a double pink-lavender striping on the truck. And since I had given the Samurai the obvious, noncreative name I took the URA out of the emblems with a hacksaw and glue, then sprayed the letter faces a top to bottom, pink to lavender fade. Same with the Suzuki emblem in the grill.

I know she’s been in the LSA version of the Escalade, it would be awesome to see here make a rip in it with the current setup. Logan too but I’ve said that before. Also I think it’s funny that your dad races his mint, new Escalade and one day someone is going to buy it thinking they bought a well taken care of never abused vehicle and will probably find missing time slips under the seat LOL.

Seeing how into the racing your lady is is so awesome. My wife has been a car girl and grown up around cars, but she hasn't been racing before. We are building a car together and I can't wait until the day we can race it. But, as I've said before, you now have me wanting to build my 01 Yukon XL. It's an ohio vehicle so it's quite rusty on the outside and I think it would be hilarious for the thing to go 100MPH and watch rust just fly off the rear quarters 😄. Thanks for the awesome content, and congrats on your own shop brother. I'm watching this after watching the moving video. Your family is awesome.

Loved seein Quaker City still exists. Keystone, Quaker City, and Fairmont Dragway (old Eldora Dragway in Fairmont WV) were the tracks my Dad and I ran in the late 80s prior to moving to Hickory, NC.

I used to live in Uniontown PA. and was about 30 mins away from Keystone. Never been to the track in Ohio. Living down in WV now, and am close to Mason Dixon now. Still my favorite place is MIR which is about an hour away.
