Thanks for the mod video, I love mine and keep adding items as well. So now I have a few other things to think about. My favorite mod I have done is an extra battery and a cargo rack to hold it. Now I can go 40-60 miles when I am out.

@@NorthShoreScout Just got back from doing a personal best 64.3 miles in just over 4 hours. The first battery lasted for 38.8 miles. I did 2.5 miles on 1 pas, 5 miles on 2 [did not notice speed change when I engaged the 2, which I take that to mean I was peddling it myself] Then did 10 miles at pas 3, and 9.3 on pas 4. Then ran pas 5 until the battery ran out at 38.8 miles. Started new battery on pas 4 and ran that for the rest of the day except the last 4 miles on pas 5 when I knew I would make it to my destination. I still had 3 bars when I stopped. The wife was tired LOL, so we called it a day. : ) If you have the alltrails app, I recorded it under Papa Blue Shirt

I take back my comment about the fenders and rack. They look good but they don't include instructions and all the parts you need to install them. It took me 3 hours to figure out how to put them on. Ecotric doesn't care to respond to any of the dozens of complaints. The handlebar extension mount should fit on the inside of the display mount. Gives you quite a lot of extra room. There should be small strips of a rubber type substance with the extension. He would wrap one or two of those on the inside of the mount to get a nice snug fit. As for the seat replace mine with a cloud nine but I also have a trek marlin seven with a bafang motor. In the better weather when I’m riding a lot I actually used to stock ecotric on my trek bike and find it very nice. When bad weather is in and I’m not riding much I like a larger seat.

yes! those "DIY build it yourself" electric motor kits are the same ones as on this bike. there arent tons of companies making electric motors and even less that are making electric bike motors. so i looked up the kits and looked at the shape of the battery to find spare batteries. tho the 36v battery are 350 bucks. soo ill be holding off on that for a while. i just did 18ish miles on one charge and i only put on 6 miles a day before i get tired of riding. i hope to do more videos as soon as i get enough energy and motivation. thanks for watching!

i would go for the 20inch bike. its not as tall as this beast but still has the 500watt motor! added awesomeness of the 20inch would be it folds up so you can put it in your car! they have a 30 day trail so if it doesnt work for you. you can send it back! good luck bud!

well i did go from 230lbs to 216lbs the summer i worked at a gift shop. cutting food by 1/4 helped. but due to my physical problems with marfan syndrome its really hard for me to loose weight. BUT!!! ive heard stories of people on facebook loosing weight with these! getting out of the house and pushing yourself will help! you can use electric assist to help you and still get a good work out. specially on hills!! 500watts isnt enough for that up hill video i have. i have to drop to 1-2 gear and the electric drive helps BIG TIME!! thanks for watching and good luck!! my goal is 200lbs someday!! i have 107 miles on it. i dont know about weather proof. almost found that out today my accident! sudden rain shower hit. its holding up good. i even had my first accident on it. i was going through a field and the grass was cut perfectly. found a hole big enough to take up the front wheel. i went over the handle bars and the bike landed on top of me. even after that there wasnt any damage. the back brakes are great. the fronts still squeel bad. i dont use them as much as the back ones. all in all its been awesome! saved me around $15 in gas going to the store for food and drinks. as you can see in other videos we have a lot of hills in this area. a normal mountain bike would ware you out but with this electric bike. oh man its a cake walk! thanks for watching!

It can do 25 to 27 mph if you change the settings in the display. I have done some minimal trail riding to see how it would handle, and the bike is a beast. Be careful though, it ways a ton and takes quite a bit of strength to keep under control if you are riding aggressively.
