@@maximusvonce1381 it’s been a benchmark forever yes, but as you can see when they test really fast cars they now measure what? 0-60,1/4mile, 60-130, 0-186mph, 1/2 mile etc etc quick vs fast again big difference. 1/4 mile is more about prep vs say half mile is about true power and acceleration who really had the faster car
@@papayspeanutmost enthusiasts are not flooring their cars for as long as a half mile silly. That gets you going like 170mph on the freeway. Most people do NOT drive their cars like that, especially most demon and m3 owners.
Everyone knows how fast S58s are with bolt ons and a tune, but to think the Demon is faster straight out the box while still retaining a factory warranty is incredible. Autoglory providing us with quality content and races as per usual.
“Out of the box” it already comes with a 3.0 supercharger. It’s already built
200k+ for a Demon 170, it better be faster than a s58 out of the box 🤣 you can get into an s58 for as little as 50k (in the x3m ofc)

I dont get why the BMW fanboys get so angry when their car loses. Smh. The M3 put up a great fight. However, the Demon 170 is just too much. No shame in losing to a 170. For those saying there is a 300hp difference, this is false information. The M3 has 750+ wheel hp. Also, the front seats have been replaced with carbon bucket seats. And the rear seats have been removed completely. This is probably good for over 100+lbs weight savings. The M3 ran the quarter in 9.3 at 150mph. So it is very very fast. Saying the Demon is "slow" or overrated because the M3 kept up is foolish. The Demon on E makes about 920whp. It has tremendous torque levels and nasty pull. It is extremely fast despite the hefty weight. The only thing holding it back is the speed limiter. Just enjoy the races, guys!! If your car lost, dont take it too seriously. It is all for fun. Props to Auto Glory for giving us these crazy races.

M3's come stock with Carbon Fiber buckets. Basic bolt on w/ a 3.0L inline 6. No car out there is making easier power gains than the S58 right now. And that 8.0 run the other day will soon be dipping 7's. In a street car on drag radials
@@rodgazinya I know. The carbon buckets are a $4,500 option. The M carbon exterior package is also another $4,700 option. Most M3 owners I know did not option these with their build. He also has a carbon fiber hood. He has them because it provides decent weight savings. He also removed the back seats. Again… weight savings. The Demon 170 has 920whp and weighs nearly 4,300lbs. Power to weight is a huge factor. There are Audi TT RS [stock turbo] cars running 9 second quarters with just 550whp. As for BMW, everyone knows the S58 platform is very capable. The point I was trying to make is, a 750whp car that was much lighter than its more powerful competitor put up a great fight. You mentioned this M3 will soon be dipping into the 7s. Come on bro. No stock turbo M3 is going to do a 7 second quarter mile pass. Lol. The comment section is just ridiculous for these videos. Smh. Just enjoy the races on the channel. Don't take it personally.

Actually the third time I’ve seen a demon 170 roll race vs a modded g80. This one definitely did the better but 900+whp is hard to beat. Crazy for a stock car. Unlocked ecu with some bolt ons and this thing would be a rocket
900whp is crazy for a modded car too. A FBO e85 hellcat is impressive and makes similar power to this 170. The 170 is very impressive. It has my respect.
I was gonna stick up for the m3 after thinking it was catching up the first run; but man, that 170 age him up the second run as if he was holding back the first run

it makes like 900 wheel, on a 4300 lb boat. A FBO hellcat is faster but that 170 will hold its value while the M3 will depreciate to like 30K lmao.

What makes the 170 quick is the suspension and the amount of torque to get off the line at a prepped track.... not made for roll racing so it will take on some losses for sure
