2007 international 4300 how to adjust your fan clutch

I was having a over heating problem and replaced everything on this truck. After doing so the truck was still over heating. So I took the fan clutch off of the truck and adjusted the temperature settings back two notches and now it seems to be back to normal now. Thanks for watching and god bless

Also if u put some degrees down and you don't replace the thermostat to some degrees down you will spend more diesel

Not sure on that, but the fan kicks on sooner and the truck runs cooler.

We're having the same issue with our bucket truck. Have you had any issues with overheating after you did that? It's been a lil while thought I'd ask

Have you flushed your radiator out lately? That can cause that too.

@@Thetowguy77 no we haven't done a flush but maybe that's what it needs. We've just been blowing radiator and air filter out regularly with compressed air.
