Mercredi(mercredee)
Jeudi(judee)
Vendredi(vaundredee)
Samedi(Samedi)
Dimanche(Deemanshe)
and they sort of sound like the days of the week based on planets
In Norwegian, we have ones that are very heavily from old norse and nordic society:
Mandag (the moon's day)
Tirsdag (the god Tyr's day)
Onsdag ( the god Odin's day)
Torsdag (the god Thor's day)
Fredag (the god Frigg's/Freyas day)
Lørdag (from Laugardag, meaning washing/cleaning day)
Søndag (the Sun's day)
(have to add that the only mistanke i found in this video was the calling Tyr Tiw, as Tiw is from Uru mythology. Everything else was correct as far as i know).
I had french for some years in school, and I agree that the days definetily sound similar to the names of the planets.

As a Christian I've always believed that the reason for a week to be 7 days, was because god took 7 days to create earth, so this information helps a lot in a theoretical way 😁😍(but I still prefer god's version✨😏)

4: why did the rest of the world accept the Norse gods as well for the days of the week and how did the names slightly change over time
