I actually found a tiktok video of a man (with messy white beard) explaining NFT in the simplest way. To put it simple, NFT is like a copyright that defines the ownership of an art. Whoever own the specific NFTs that are 'attached' to an art, owns the art. That's what I understood. Why it keeps increasing in value, I don't know.

All crypto that have the nft technology are new gen crypto which mostly use Proof of Stack. Proof of stack is a way to secure transaction but instead of the old one method (Proof of work) it's use near 0 energy per transaction.
The only crypto that have nft, famous and use a lot of energy is Ethereum, but Ethereum are currently in a migration state to use Proof of stake instead of Proof of work
It depends on the type of blockchain you’re using. For example, Solana blockchain uses proof of stake method to validate the transactions, so it uses way less energy than ETH or BTC.

l totally agree with what you are saying. I started in crypto in August 2017, and I bought in. I was up 5x by December only to watch that disappear quickly and then watch the original investment go down by about 85% during the ensuing 4 year bear market. I took the opportunity to accumulate more over the last 4 years which was hard to do and at the same time a smart thing to do. I wish I had bought more. I am in profit for now but I am planning on using my experience to do exactly what you have said in this post. I have learned from you and other CZcamsrs especially my mentor Mr frank Lucas Trevor, who taught me how to make trade and increase my crypto from 8 to 25btc that no one really knows what is going to happen and I know you are only saying what you think will happen based on the past. It is yours and my opinion so people should make their own investment choices based on their own research

Nope! it's a big no for me to invest in a nft right now. It's highly risky and right now people are dumping all of their investment in to nft thinking if crypto currency is going up, nft will go to but be clear both are different things, crypto currency is the virtual currency which has a market capitalisation and holds value like the real money (atleast) while nft is just a virtual art, its not a currency which holds value, its value is what a buyer is willing to pay, think of it like you are selling your thing at an auction, you can't control its value. Maybe I am thinking too negative about this new technology because of my traditional thinking. But Please research before investing in any market whether its nft or real state. I personally do not like NFTs, and will never even consider buying them because one ehterium (crypto used for buying NFTs) transaction takes 70.32 kWh and its only one etherium, while there are images that are worth 10000 or even 1000000 etherium which is enough to generate energy for an entire county.
Buying NFTs destroys the environment and kills the plants that generate the oxygen we need to live
