Other sports I can see that mattering but with football you only have 16 games and 12 of them are similar to other teams in your division. So the likely hood for some teams to play all good opponents is unlikely, especially as the season goes on.

Ultimately the Dallas defense is a second tier defense still good but I don’t think we’ll see many shutdown performances however I do think Dallas’s defense is much better than it has been in the past and can support the offense if the offense can draw up gameplans like they did this Sunday. As a cowboys fan I’m much more worried about the play calling on offense than I am about the defense holding together. The thing that will sink Dallas this season is the teams lack of creativity. Dallas doesn’t have very many good playmakers which is all the more reason for them to get creative and take chances. I’ve seen glimpses of this against the giants and in the game against the Lions the cowboys key to success will be to possess the ball and get the balk to Zeke in different ways out of different formations.

People hate Will Cain for whatever reason, yet he's always the most intelligent one on this show when he's on. At least he won't argue out of both sides of his mouth. I don't know why Max even disagreed with him. Cain said he felt the Eagles were better, just not heads and shoulders better. Heads and shoulders better is 4 or more wins better than they next team. And they aren't. They ran away with the division for a lot of reasons. Controversy in Dallas, Skins just not being a good team, and Giants taking a step back without Odell. Eagles may still win the division, but it will be a close race, and the best team might only have 11 wins.
Max is very hyperbolic, especially when he gets excited. Anyone he thinks is good, he thinks they are exponentially better than the rest of the competition. He uses all the absolutes and big time statements like Elite, The greatest, best ever, etc. It gets annoying.
