By watching these great videos every day and often repeatedly my stubborn old mindset is slowly changing and the goal to become indifferent is coming closer day by day....... Thanks Dan! 🙏❤

I just listened to one of the latest conversations with great Bruce Lipton (author of "The Biology of Belief"). There he says: "You want to heal your body you don´t put drugs in it you change consciousness. Your life is a manifestation of your consciousness." Just wanted to share this with all of you..... ❤💫❤

My actions are the best evidence to my brain. Even if it’s small things I can do. It’s me feeling good about it and building on those activities that have led to my indifference.

We will get there organically, it will happen. Calm reassurance leads the way.

I recently watched a video on YT called 'life is not a heros journey' and currently I'm reading the book the video is based on. It helps me with indifference because it made me realize i was constantly telling myself a story while i was living it. I was imagining this recovery story. So every step, every action, has a place in that recovery structure. In a hero's journey. I was expecting them subconsciously to necessarily lead to recovery. Either that or it was a tragedy (the inverse of a hero's journey) and everything is doomed. One solution is to let go of expected structures. This is freeing because now a good day doesn't mean I'm getting better and a bad day doesn't mean I'm getting worse. There are just good days and bad days. They just are, not as parts of a grander narrative, but as events upon themselves. And by stopping to try to force everything into these narrative structures, things can arise more spontaneously. It's quite freeing but it also forces me to accept just how boring, bland and uncontrollable live can be. It definitely helps me care less about symptoms though

I got it now-Thank you for pointing me here to this video. Somehow I missed this video😮.
Im indifferent to MANY things; its the ramped UP pain with a “flare” that is the pisser to be indifferent to. However, I can see and have always believed in complete recovery even before id heard or Sarno, TMS etc. Learning to be patient is key for me I suppose. Dont like to wait. I tell myself, ok, this works, I have NO doubt, so-giddy up! 😂
Thx Dan- the man.👍 you rock.

Would you care making a video on non-stop chronic pain? 😊 It is hard to keep the good vibe and the confidence when there is no break in the symptoms 😢

Hi Dan, can you revisit using some OTC’s? I use them right now because I was challenged when walking, taking stairs, getting in out of car.

Dan, do you think it's a good idea to ask yourself what life event/situation could be causing a transient flare in pain when you are clearly on the road to recovery (judging by the baseline intensity and duration of symptoms)?

  • @chrishairston8867

Do we have to always understand what triggers the symptoms? Sometimes I can’t pinpoint an emotional trigger and that disrupts my ability to accept TMS/PDP

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  Před 4 měsíci

No you don't have to figure anything out. There is always one answer to symptoms increasing. The brain perceived danger. Answer? Jump right to reassuring yourself that you are fine. Safe.

JFK suffered everyday of his life and look what he did. he would come home and collapse, balance being the leader of the free world , being a father , balance god knows how many women haha and did it all in pain. his doctor happened to be Dr Sarnos mentor. Now the kennedy's were taught that due to their status and goals they were not to complain only overcome, but this man loved life from a very young age all the way to his final moments in Dallas. it's mindset.

Whether my pain is only temporary or not. E.g. hurts my feet and back to stand, coccyx to sit for any short length of time, I know the pain will go away when I'm not doing these things. I still know that it is agony to do them, so how can I not be bothered? And if I avoid the standing or sitting then I'm telling my brain that it is structural, right? If the smoke alarm goes off while cooking and there is no fire, the alarm is still piercing to my ears.
I'm a 52 year old male with fibromyalgia. No problems what so ever with my countless numbers of mri scans and blood tests. I've been watching your videos for about 3 months, done the tests, read dr sarnos book and an audiobook, and I am certain that I have tms. I have removed my orthotics and don't use my massage gun anymore, but the pain is still there. It is very difficult to not think about it and then the neural pathway links and the pain arrives. 😢
I don't see any actual instructions from you about how to implement this. And as I can't work with my symptoms I can't afford the £100 per month coaching. Who can?
Someone bought me the curable app for the year, which is how I learned about you, and I appreciate your help but teach us the application as you say we can't get better by just watching your videos

Is it wrong to push through the pain? I have back and leg pain when standing or walking , well yesterday I began walking and the pain began slowly at first, but started to increase the further I went, well I kind of had a discussion with my brain and said I had a goal to get so far and you’re not going to stop me. I kept going though knowing that the brain and not my back was the problem it was painful, but I did it and it hurt for a while after I stopped. Was that a good thing to do? I thought I was showing in deference now I’m not sure. Just wanted to show my brain that I was stronger today.

Push through what you can bear, then slowly build up a tolerance. I know where you're at because I was there years ago. Laid up for a yr and a half before I'd finally had enough and started getting back on my feet and living again. I still have pain at times, but natural therapy and light exercises have helped reduce it and strengthen it. You can make it, don't stop, as I tell myself to blow through, blow through when I feel like relinquishing to the pain. 💪

Push trough ... And when symptoms climb too high... Take a little break... Sit down, relax, and welcome the symptoms in... Show no fear but curiousity, say I know what you are... Your overprotective me, and there is no need for that. I'm already ok. Don't let the symptoms intimidate you, it's your protector. The symptoms should come down then... Then move on with indifference.

Thanks Dan, your videos are a saving grace 💚. Just one thing though, I know that the pain and symptoms are false alarms but I care still because they impact what I can do still and how much I can enjoy that thing. For example, I know typing, sitting, jogging isn’t dangerous and I’m not broken but the fact I still can’t do them means I care about the pain being there or it flaring. I’m not consciously scared of those things most of the time. Maybe I’m not explaining this well 🫣? Hope it makes sense.
