Today we take a look at the MJX Hyper go H16E Arrma Kraton Look-Alike!
The hyper Go is a Bluetooth & GPS Enabled RC Monster Truck made by a drone company known as MJX.
These trucks are awesome and perform great being very similar in design to the HBX 16889 which is a tried and tested solid performing RC Monster Truck!
The guys at MJX listened to your feedback after I reviewed the pre production model and made all of the necessary changes!

MJX have done a great job with the final trucks! They now come with oil filled shocks and the ability to use your own lipo batteries! Great work and whichever body type you choose these trucks are awesome! What do you think of the Hyper go? Is the HBX 16889 a better choice?
Does the ESC accept 3s ? Can you give your opinion in comparison with the 16889a ?
We will know soon, but my money is the HBX.
Hi Ricky I wonder if you could help or link me to a part. My MJX Hyper Go H16E only used for the second time today took it for a run it got stuck in Tall grass about 20 metres away I wasn't aware so gave it full throttle where it was probably stuck so the car didn't go any where when I went to pick it up it was limping like I'd go full throttle the wheels turn but only about a 1/6th of the speed it should which to me means I prob stripped the spur gear is it is that located by the motor? I know they are only made of plastic and if I did full throttle when it was stuck and it couldn't move I guess that could have chewed teeth would you happen to be able to link me to a correct site ebay or whatever to get a new spur gear for this model as I've hardly used it. Thanks alot bud great videos as always unless you can think if it's anything else I will have a proper look when I can

The channel was certainly a big part of deciding to move that and the fact East London just isn't what It used to be and having 2 young kids who need to go through school and grow up in a much nicer area not an area with very high crime rates and danger. It was a no brainer! I'm about 30 miles from my old place and surrounded by awesome locations and wonderful people. Very exciting times ahead!

I think the MJX RC cars are the best 16 scale cars out there. Fast durable you name it they got it.😊 Very high quality buggies. To get that kind of speed that you see with these RC cars you have to spend over $200 $300

I think the advantage that this truck have is only the gps. I would prefer hbx 16889a pro more than this because with the same price range i will get brushless ready truck with all metal gearing and oil shock. If want the higher top speed and power just change to higher kv motor like 2845 size with 5900kv.
HBX 16889A beater. Have one coming for my birthday. Way to go MJX King of budget 1/16 scale if this comes in brushless one day even though brushed is more than fast on this will take alot to beat. Those looks ❤️ HBX 16889A looks like a toy in comparison

Silly, but my favourite thing on these little cars is the lights! Can you fit ligjts (front & back) or advise on a decent 1/16th scalr that has lights built in ?? Cheers

Now with those oil shocks it handles so much better than previous and jumps quite well to be honest. Still not sure the Gps gimmick is a selling point but it is really in a very combative group of other 1/16 cars and it will come down to price. Plus glad to see you back matey, house moves are WAY too strssful.
Certainly a decent little truck! The gps and telemetry might be appealing to some but most looking for a cheap 1/16 basher won't use these features. Cheers Phil glad to be back!
Can you tell me the exact dimensions of the included battery?
Though I do worry about reviewers seeming to never have bad things to say about these... they never comment on getting spare parts when you do break something... BUT.. they do look killer for the price. What was available when I was a kid 30 years ago and the prices I paid for a basic hobby level RC card vs. what you can now get with these is mental. I did put one of these Chinese trucks on order and it's coming today so I guess I'll see.
Hi, I am from Mexico, I am thinking in open up a business renting rc cars for kids and adults, a place to hangup and play wit rc cars. One of the reasons for doing this it is that I love rc vehicles I have experience with quadcopter I started with a cc3d. The second one it is that people around where I live don't know the fun of rc vehicles and I want to build a dirt track. So my question it is: if why are going to see replacement parts soon?
My second option for this projects it is HBX cars and last wltoys. I really like your videos and reviews. Thank you for your time and your advice.
Excellent content as always question the GPS unit inside the Truckee is it standalone I see it has a three wire servo so I'm thinking it can be removed and putting any other car and attached to the receiver do you see that as well.. or is the GPS unit permanent in the car and can't be removed
Thanks Anthony! Unfortunately not standalone. The gps is linked to the transmitter which transmits the telemetry over bluetooth and then the transmitter linked to receiver as normal meaning its not something you can remove and place into another model as you would need the original receiver to be present. If that makes sense 🤣
@@beyondRC gotcha.... So if u upgrade the motor to brushless you will loose the GPS functionality because you would need to change the esc...am I correct
correct. I wish there was a way to make it work. Matthew simm recently did a brushless conversion on this truck and it was insane! Of course lost gps functionality but the truck was epic!
Does the wheelie bar actually work it looks like it doesn’t do wheelies maybe on the carpet
No wheelies on the stock brushed setup at least not with this kraton body. The monster truck version pops wheelies!

Thanks man! Truthfully its not gonna happen overnight dude.. maybe not ever but here are some tips below:
1) quality over quantity
2) videos have to have a purpose (not random)
3) single take videos get fewer views as people click away from boredom.
4) 10min+ vids help the algorithm
5) companies didn't contact me until 1k subs and that's a hard challenge in itself.
6) don't make a channel with free samples in mind as it may never happen
7) I spent over £5000 buying my own RC's and gear to help grow and generate views in the early days.
It's a dream for many but the truth is its ruthless, lots of competition, people already have channels much larger which companies favour and most of all its a 24/7 job which isn't as glamorous as it sounds.
I did it and its proof it can be done when already there were very large channels making it seem impossible but stick to the tips above and it may Happen for you dude.
Be prepared to invest lots of money, time and effort that's all I would say.

380 brushed motor getting a speed like that? I doubt the telemetries. It sounds a bit puffed up. The brushless 16889 has the same size motor and only edges 38KPH. I doubt this truck edges the 37 KPH as well. It sounds a bit fishy.
anyway brushed vs brushless has an impact on play time as brushed will take more energy and shorten play time. It is quite a beautiful truck and great features but they should go brushless for the extra 10 KPH in top speed.
Is their brushless version out yet?

The inside of the RC isn't Arrma, but the Kraton and Outcast style bodies are DIRECT ripoffs.
Hell, the Kraton one even has the exact same grooves in the bed as the real one.
It's definitely a cool little RC though. Quick for its size and price.
I wonder how crazy it could be with some money dumped in to it.

I would buy and upgrade it just for the looks, seems well made and wheelie bar will come in handy when brushless....
-Transmitter looks very crappy
-the app seems very gimmicky, perhaps is using a gsm020 gps unit (rebranded)
-chassis design and configuration A++
Wish for the price it came brushless and they could've thrown out the proprietary battery and gps module

I'd just go with a Traxxas. The Hype go is not upgradeable and has a ton of alignment issues.
I do like your content very much but I wonder why you very often title your videos with open questions such as: new best...? New king of the category...?
