Teared up during the restaurant scene. For those of us with compulsive behavioral issues, the ability to recognize you can't control yourself around a trigger, and then excuse yourself from the situation, is deeply underrated. Listener should be very proud of their girlfriend.
Definitely. It's tough! Recognizing that you're struggling AND being vulnerable enough to admit it long enough to remove yourself from the trigger can be so, so hard. Pulling it off shows serious growth!

Aside from the Gorey comments and kidnapping, I can really relate to this character. Listening to a story about someone who has an artistic flare and has gone through some of the same experiences as me struck a chord and made me feel seen.
Obviously not the best character to see yourself in, but...
I think it's okay to see yourself in any kind of character, so long as you can differentiate good actions from the bad in your own real life and act accordingly. It's healthy and cathartic, even! Humans are complicated beasts, and fiction helps us untangle our emotions. It's fine to identify with a character's feelings, even if they do bad things, because obviously, you know things like kidnapping/murder/etc. are bad.

hey, big fan here. It's been like 2, 3, or 4 months since i've stumbled upon this asmr channel in the midst of one of the many restless nights that I had. The very night that I found the world of asmr, especially you, was the very day that the least enjoyable time of day became the one I always looks forward to throughout my whole day. I've watched almost half of your videos, each of them with their very unique scripts and characters that always gives me a mix of emotions every night for the whole duration I've been following this channel. I've always looked forward everyday for new videos to be uploaded that never ceases to give me a feeling of a rollercoaster ride whilst resting down my bed with my earbuds on and door locked. Your amazing videos helped me battle against insomnia that I didn't even knew I had (seriously hahaha). I will forever be thankful for giving us these wonderful audios that lifted my spirits up every night and even during the day. But it's been an awful time, and with me preparing myself to go up to the big world, and I have to let go of listening to asmrs. I wish I could've listened to more of your videos. Mental health is both a serious but sensitive subject but seeing artists do scripts of playing the characters with said mental health issues or just discussing the topic itself as of recently more and more has helped me to realize many things in my own life with my struggles grasping on how I should be proud of myself for how many years of my life and how many difficult moments I’ve survived up until now still being alive and kicking is something I really don’t give myself nearly enough credit for. Roleplays like this one helps me to not only feel loved but it helps to keep me sane it helps me fight my own brain hearing me being adored and romantically loved by characters played in stories being from the perspective of the speaker is a blessing in itself its helped me through so much over the years and I owe my life to all the artists like yourself who’ve done so much for me loving me for me and always encouraging me through audios to let me know that you love me and adore me just as I am that means so much to me even if I may not know you personally mommy thank you for your kindness towards me despite challenges in life I’m devoted still to trying with my best efforts because of people like you and the community of artists like you

Either way i always adore this story world snd hope u keep adding more to this
