This is a super deep frequency tone that you should "feel" much more than hear. You'll likely have to turn your subwoofer way up for this one. This one makes me feel really strange, and I do wonder if I played it for long enough, or constantly under everything else, if weird things would start happening.
NASA has told us that the resonant frequency of the human eye is around 18 hz so this could explain why sounds in this range have been said to produce hallucinations and ghost sightings.

18hz is the same frequency that the human eye vibrates. Which is one, of many reasons, that you should not listen to this very often or at high volumes. The “ghosts” some people see is the frequency interfering with your eyes’ ability to correctly sense movement.

That’s largely psychosomatic. It’s not really the “ghost frequency.” This is white noise. You cannot hear the ghost frequency. You feel unease hearing it because you were told going in that it’s the frequency that’s supposed to make people feel a certain way, so when you listen to the video, your mind reacts to what you were expecting, not what’s actually playing. It isn’t necessarily comfortable to listen to, but it isn’t the ghost frequency. 🙂

The popping sound when you play and stop sounds the same as when a digital audio waveform is not cut on the axis properly. A frequency this low has such a long waveform it gets clipped dramatically no matter where one stops or starts.

Actually cool fact some haunted houses do! They usually use them in the lines you wait in. One I saw was a giant subwoofer in what looked like steel air conditioning pipes. But instead it’s producing a sound that you can’t hear. The pipes would echo the sound and have it wrap around the line.

Binaural sounds affect everyone else differently, though this does have a degree of physical effect that you cannot mentally control. That is the vibrations it causes which can lead to disorientation, IE - minute vibrations of your eyes. Some people won't notice it, but most people will notice it if you put in some decent earbuds or use a good set of wireless headphones and start walking around. Your body will start to become confused and disoriented due to the constant vibrations. Me personally, I felt three different things when I first listened to this. Vertigo, disorientation, and a mild feeling of anxiety. Having gotten older and listening to the frequency again, I now disorientation and that's about it. Anxiety does not exist as I can explain the feelings of fear/discomfort away.
