Imagine this timeline Max knocks out Justin, Conor knocks out Chandler, Max knocks out Conor, Max beats Islam and then goes back down to 145 and beats Topuria
I am curious what he does. He can stay at 155 and get a ton of money fights. Take the winner of McGregor v Chandler, fight Poirier after he loses, or even go for the belt. But if he goes down to 145 and loses to Ilia, then a lot of the momentum gets cut off. Volk will want to get a shot at the title and then that fight goes away and then if he goes back to 155, the championship fight is probably off the table. Now if he does beat Ilia, especially if he sons him (unlikely), then he can do whatever he wants. Fight for the 155 belt and then fight whoever is the best option for the BMF between 145 and 155.
I want to see him fight Ilia but the weight cut might be too much now, and I believe he loses to Islam. I think a good fight for him would be Oliveira just because it would be a banger. If he believes he can cut down to 145 still with no problems then the Ilia fight would be incredible, but I think he should stay at Lightweight.

I don’t want to think this but I think gaethje is just kind of chinny now. Not that max is now very powerful. Plus gaethje was having to breath through his mouth so his mouth was open and therefore would be more prone to knockouts. Korean zombie was for sure chinny by the time he was KOd by max

I think there is a good chance he could defend the BMF belt if the weight is right and the opponent is right
Imagine this timeline
Max knocks out Justin, Conor knocks out Chandler, Max knocks out Conor, Max beats Islam and then goes back down to 145 and beats Topuria
WHAT THAT'S YOUR FACE...
I always think that you were Manny Pacquiao
He is only in his early 30s too!!!
It seems Volk and Max kinda levelled up around the age of 31-32
Everywhere I go I see riyan parag
i find it hilarious that people thought justin would even win
Hear me out, after facing Ilia, Max will defend his BMF belt against McGregor at 170lbs
I think people forgets that he ko'd Korean zombie from 1 punch... People forget that he ko'd Aldo twice.
He always being able to hit hard as fuck.
i dont think it makes sense for max or arman to fight eachother but its a cool fight, thought arman would win at first thought but with armans cardio and pacing issues i could easily see him gassing out and max finishing him in the later rounds
Hes number 1 in lightweight.
He beat Justin convincingly and chose to brutally win.
Arman won via split.
Charles lost a split.
Those two nullify their rankings.
Number 1 in Featherweight.
As Volk last performance was not good (even tho the context is so unfair)
Max just did something so impressive.
Imagine Dustin beats Islam with a guillotine and then we get Holloway vs Dustin again for both belts on the line.
I don’t think Ilia is “scared”. After UFC 300 he’s tweeted/been tweeting about how he wants to fight Max next now
MAX VS DO BRONX 2 WOULD BE AMAZING
Holloway vs McGregor
There's a reason why the UFC made Topuria skip over Max for the title fight and the Gaethje fight showed why 🙏
Zabit would smoke them
finally dis dude talm bout sum positif for once
We are witnessing the birth of PRIME Max Holloway. 💪
I don’t want to think this but I think gaethje is just kind of chinny now. Not that max is now very powerful. Plus gaethje was having to breath through his mouth so his mouth was open and therefore would be more prone to knockouts. Korean zombie was for sure chinny by the time he was KOd by max
