Most characters in dota are not a variety of hot human, also dota 1 is what LoL (and dota 2)is based on , but DOTA 2 standalone came out a year after LoL. Also some minor mechanical differences put some people off i guess.

Less marketing (like anime,kda in lol etc), less gimnick(free character but better 'hidden' costumisation), more complex gameplay and more things to learn too while lol simple as train champ mechanic, best stat item specified(tank, dmg, less active, no universal item), less micro/macro. Not to mention early dota (tutorial) for beginner is suck, i play dota 2 first 30mnt in tutorial, exhausted and play LoL instead. I back again to dota 2yrs later after my friend invited me to play it.
nemesis need to be leteach how to use courier, its literally buying items and on click, he doesnt need no keybinds and shit, his coach said many useless things that makes no sense especially for new players

I just think a lot of the little micro management stuff you have to do is totally unnecessary and annoying. I could see myself playing norms to chill. Ranked looks like it would be hell. The balance of the game looks like total shit and so does the engine, looks so clunky to play.

you should play the game for few hours before talking like you're a pro lol i played dota less than 30 hours but its way more enjoyable imo, it is definitely slow game, but the fact that you have voice chat, roles arent that strict, balance in game is pretty good so idk from where did you find that, look of the game is subjective, dota looks definitely better than lol, the only "issue" is the fact that your character need to like LITERALLY change direction before going forward, like irl, you cant just go forward and sudenly go back, you need to stop and then go back or at least slow down and then turn, same with dota@@On_Smoko7508
there's many champions that are better than the others propably, but every champ has something that is OP to some degree, for example look at earthshaker, he has very very good cc chain and deal massive dmg that can pretty much one shot enemy team, but cooldowns are big compared to many other champs

i started playing lol after like 15k hours on dota 2, and literally got atleast 10 kills with very few deaths on each lol game i played starting off lmao. lol is so much easier its not even funny. and im not even tryna say that as an insult, because at the end of the day i was having alot of fun with lol. and isnt that the point of a video game? dota 2 frustrates me to no end everytime i play it, but im a masochist so i keep playing.
