- As promised, we did our first mod to the car! This is the Flowmaster Outlaw series exhaust system. 817740 is the part number. Definitely made it louder. Some good sound clips in here.
I just installed this system on my 2017 Scat Pack with a set of JBAs Long Tubes( my car is tuned) . Mannnnn, the car sounds amazing!!! LAF cold start, but once she idle down she sounds awesome! As for driving, I agree with Demonchild, surprisingly calm and minimal drone if any in my challenger. If you are seriously considering on buying a cat-back, this Outlaw is the way to go!

Sounds great! 👌 Great looking car! 392s are amazing! I've a 2016 PitchBlack Challenger Hellcat & I'm always on the lookout for 1320s! The badging is awesome. Finally saw one in real life at local dealer 2 weeks ago. B5 blue. The tire compound felt amazing & sticky.😄

Flowmaster Outlaw Race mufflers on a 2019 Scat Pack. Kept my resonators just because and it is still looouuud while keeping the true sound of the 392.

I put Super 44s on my R/T a while back. They sounded great, you can see videos on my channel.
I am worried about those drag radials throwing stones up into the paint, also what happens when it rains? They have an absolutely gorgeous 1320 at my local dealer, I had been pricing a loaded Widebody but the 1320 in the showroom is eye catching. I am now just uploading a new video of me shopping for a new challenger. So far a couple used Hellcats got my attention. I am probably going to buy in October.

The seat of the pants meter doesn’t detect anything. I think Flowmaster says maybe 5hp. We’ll see if that plus any weight savings helps any in a future vid.

Surprisingly not as bad as I was expecting! Very tolerable. Most drone is on a slow deceleration.

But my own personal like for my Scatty 6.4l 392 is the catback Corsa Extreme. And now that im out of the godforsaken shithole called Southern California, I paired my exhaust with Corsa headers with no worries of smog emission cause i'm in Nye County NV.... So im up about 40hp and im happy with the new sounding Scatty.
BTW, I'm now in NV which means a more free to open carry state. #GodBlessThe2ndAmendment

Would you say that this exhaust system sounds better or worse than a 392 with a straight piped exhaust (cats intact, muffler & resonators removed)?

Did you put the clamps down so they drag on things? Lol Neat car and exhaust.
Actually, yes they are pointing down but the reason I left them like that is the factory clamps were like that and they are not the lowest point. Also I have to admit getting these lined up was quite the PITA. I could have loosened them and put them to the side (or just took them off after welding) but I was afraid I would lose my positioning of the tips! Wasn’t worth it for me to take the chance.

The car is totaled so definitely didn’t see it in GA! Must have been another just like it.
How much where the pipes?
They are $1000 on eBay, a bit too much in my opinion.
Long tubes, ported intake, TB, and a tune sitting on some race welds might break 10s!
Sounds good, but not much better or louder than 20$ race bullets. So, without long tube headers, a full exhaust is a waste of money.
Get some Mickey Thompson’s on there and learn how to do the trans break
Yeah they could call the outlaw Mufflers straight pipes, but then they wouldn't be able to charge you 10 times the price.
Sounds no different than a 3" straight piped car that runs bout $100
