    no annie oakley primarly used the 1897 marlin rifle (it would become the 39a). winchester rifles are good rifles but they are expensive for what they are who has 1200 dollars to spend on a lever action rifle when we can have a nice semi auto for the same money.

      Annie Oakley used a variety of guns throughout her career, including Marlin & Winchester rifles. Given her popularity, manufacturers would likely offer her rifles for promotion. Her most iconic weapon was the Winchester Model 1873 rifle, presented to her by Buffalo Bill Cody.
