What a waste of money for a country that doenst appreciate soccer all that much. It's a waste of money for every country that hosts a big event. Why not do that in countries where they already have stadiums enough for that kinda of thing.

As I remember in the 94 World Cup that was held in the US, the games were all on at reasonable times for the UK, I remember problems with the heat and keeping players hydrated as games were being played at midday and 4pm-ish US time, so shouldn't be too bad for us on the other side of the pond.
