Here I am bingeing on Holly interviews and performances ever since watching the recent reunion (which we all thought might never happen). He's had such a fascinating and storied life and I love listening to him talk of his experiences and background.
BILLY WAS AN EXPLOSIVE FRONTMAN IN THE FGTH DAYS, HIS VOICE IS SO EMOTIONAL, OPERATIC AND HE USES VIBRATO TO GREAT EFFECT. I COULD LISTEN TO HOLLY TALKING OR SINGING THE DICTIONARY AND I WOULD BE MESMERISED.

Just too bad they disbanded Frankie Goes to Hollywood because of some personal grudge. But after their Eurovision performance in 2023, they have announced tour dates across the UK.
Really enjoyed that interview. I can related to everything he said living in Liverpool during the eighties. The Tube and John Peel Show were the best. Top of The Pops wasn't too bad back then either.

I also like Chicago that's my second favorite group I can't forget Van Halen give it away give it away give it away now Red Hot chili peppers Pink Floyd Chicago I'm a lover of good music and a funky beat
Holly has a unique voice, but Frankie were built on marketing and hype, which is not enough to sustain a long term career. They weren’t great songwriters, but they did get a great producer and marketer. I remember thinking when they had their big hits they won’t last on hype and one clever disco sound. Duran, George Michael, Crowded House, could consistently write great songs.
You know his name very well, otherwise you wouldn't have found this video and came here to bitching. No he's not a guy who ever told the FGTH "fans" FU. He's the guy who told FU to the stalking, anonymous, faceless, coward people who chased him and took so much away from him. He was Frankie Goes to Hollywood himself, all the qualities that made the band attractive to real people came from him.
I always love listening to Holly.... a very charismatic man, with intelligence. Great interview.
