I can believe anything about Paul Rutherford, Mark O'Toole and the rest of the band. They treated Holly disgustingly. It was described in an article that one night in a restaurant the band threw food at Holly, slagged hím off and to top it all off O'Toole kicked Holly in the balls with a steel toe boot. Paul, Nasher jokes about the story on Instagram saying that Holly looking for his lost balls.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood were massive. What a great sound that stills fires me up today. Trevor Horn of Zang Tumb Tumb records tried to take credit for their songs, but FGTH created them and ZTT merely produced. Holly has always been such a sweetheart and he sounds as good as ever. The 80s was probably the biggest explosion in the UK music industry and bands like FGTH have influenced music globally ever since. You'll be hard pressed to go a year without hearing the music of an 80s UK hit band or artist in a major movie or tv show. Really great to hear Frankie reminisce about life as a fan and remind us that Liverpool produced so much more than just the Beatles, which would have been enough.

Golden Years clearly was NOT "the lead single from Young Americans" as Holly states, to Ken Bruce's apparent approval. It's quite shocking that professed Bowie fans could make that kind of mistake, but I remember Bowie once telling Jonathan Ross that Sense of Doubt was a track off Low and having to be corrected, so clearly even Bowie wasn't "a professed Bowie fan" in that sense.
