Just noticed this is now discontinued with no replacement planned by Ridgid, as per HD website. Also for some reason this is way cheaper here in Canada cdn$198. Vs US$269! No longer available on Amazon but still in many Home Depot locations but once gone, they’re gone! Too bad since such a good unit.
This one ...no brainer ..Wen is not a tool that you would find on a job site or in a real workshop... also Ridgid is a tried and tested name with the lifetime service agreement .....Wen is not.... don't get me wrong I have the 36 in belt sander with the 6in Disc Sander with the cast iron base from Wen.... but if I had the same option in a Ridgid tool I would buy The Ridgid...
I'm getting heavy into wood working lately I appreciate your opinion on these tools im loving my dewalt hevy rolling miter saw stand as well as the flexvolt 120v double bevel compound sliding miter saw kit great information Brian @Redemption Garage
Was looking to get this tool, was making some shelf pieces that were semi round and was having a hard time hand filing it, and this should help. Hopefully in a few months we will see
Aye good stuff Brian... I'm invested in Ridgid Tools... I have 18 or 19 tools registered and about 24 batteries... I always say you can't go wrong there well-priced they work great and they last a long time
Does anyone own this sander? I made this video 2 months ago and have been using it since and I think it is an awesome addition to the garage.
Yes i have it, its just ok, I don't use it as much as I thought I would.
The miter slot is great for using templates for precise repeated patterns.
I waited till it was on sale and I just bought it yesterday
I have a Rigid Drill from 2017 at got it from Home Depot too it is working good!

Trying to decide between this one at $270 or the wen which is the same but no miter slot and a touch smaller for $210. Cool video
