From what we can tell ours doesn't have one on the main battery at all. Our autostart hasn't worked since we bought this one. Do you happen to know the part numbers for the bms, prob same as 2019 I would guess
I bought a new bms 100 and put it in and my battery charge gauge started out as 100% but goes down slowly as I drive. I took it to kenworth and they connected the extra ground cable from truck batteries to auxiliary batteries using a terminal expander. That did not fix the issue. Do you have an idea on what to do?
To be honest I don’t have much knowledge about the BMS 100 trouble shoot cuz I would normally research and test to figure out problems as they arise being I’m not really a mechanic but just doing the thing 😅. IMO I would check if it’s the correct BMS 100 and it’s functional cuz it shouldn’t be counting down. And also it just records battery percentage so maybe check your batteries to see if they are losing charge/not holding charge being the BMS100 is new. One bad battery can cause all other 7 of your batteries to go bad. Ask me how I know 🥲

I use 2020. I dont have a autostart button or switch. Where else could it be?
It is always closest to the batteries. If you have EPU then you have 8 batteries on your truck. But I would definately think it’s on your batteries.
What year is your truck? We're trying to find the part number for the bms for our 2020 and it's like an internet rabbit hole
@@AimeeKuhns 2019 Kenworth T680 MX13 EPA 17. They’re are 2 types, one for the Aux battery and Main battery Now I have 3 😂😂😂😂

@@AimeeKuhns They have different part numbers but search for “Kenworth Battery Management” or go to Midtronics website for part #.
