    Great information however if you're studying in the state of Texas once you finish or complete your pre-licensing course they will give you step-by-step instruction on what and how to complete the process at that point. Without the pre-licensing course you can't do Step 2 and step 3 which is fingerprinting and applying for an application because they ask you for that certificate which must be signed by your instructor and you do have the option of completing an online class or a in classroom study. I reside in the DFW area

      @@ClaimsAdjusteroftheYear From watching your video's I've gone ahead and applied at Pilot and some of the company's that offer training. A lot of the positions for the local companies are looking for experienced people or those with a Bachelor's degree preferred. I have neither so, I've been on Indeed looking for companies with training programs. Also I've been trying to figure how I can learn because I have no knowledge in auto body nor construction... Is that necessary for Auto or Property adjusting?

    Excellent video. Very clear-cut and straight to the point. I currently have my Life Insurance license. I have plans to take the property and casualty exam to write auto insurance policies. If I took the All Lines Adjuster exam does that give me lead way to automatically be able to write auto policies and do Adjuster's work?

      @@larrylaneaux1430 well I passed on my second try. The first test I took I promise I understood nothing! It was not at all the material I had studied for. The second one I knew a great amount of the answers. I felt super confident! My advice is to study! Make flash cards of terms and policies as well as what they include and exclude. I also like to listen to different policy videos whilst headed to work. I wish you the best!!! You’ll do great! Especially since you’re already experienced !!!

      @@ClaimsAdjusteroftheYear thank you. The state licenses I plan to get to start of with are Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Texas has reciprocity in many states which is a good thing.

I want to get into this field of work but I am absolutely lost as to where I need to start. Do I have to take the exam again to obtain my license in the other states as well or just apply?

      I stay in Alabama but I took the Texas online course I passed but when I went to go get my finger print at ups using gemalto they said they could only do the state of Alabama insurance which was crazy

I always been interested to get into insurance claims and especially independently because I already work from home and I want to continue to work from home. I just was not sure which company to go through for the training. So, if I am an IA is it guaranteed that I will be paid hourly, or salary? Or is it by case?       Kaycee Solei no but I recommend getting NY and Texas. Our course allows you to take the TX exam online. This is great since most test centers are closed

      Okay great thank you. I actually verified with another school offering the course and then I looked at the licensing requirements for Texas from their state website and you actually do need your home state license first, unless you live in a state that doesn’t offer an adjuster license, they’ve updated their licensure process so it’s not as easy as just taking their exam and getting your Texas adjuster license anymore :(Claims Adjuster of the Year

      Kaycee Solei That’s true for most states but NYC doesn’t reciprocate, I couldn’t do that in GA b/c its reciprocal. Either way as I stated above it would be best to get both.
