Gotta say as a Liverpool fan even I underrated MacAllister myself, we've had Szoboslai being the best at the start, then Jones through the middle and now its Macca. The difference is hes been consistent throughout the whole season, 8/10+ every single game, hes our Wijnaldum.

Rodri has more goals and assists this season than Rice. 7 and 10 in all competitions to Rice 6 and 7. Both on 6 and 6 in the EPL specifically. Rodri has also played 200 fewer minutes.
And why not talk about Mac Allister’s stats? He’s on 4 goals 6 assists in over 850 minutes fewer than Rice. He was injured throughout December which is when Endo took over and he didn’t come back until Endo left for the Asia Cup. He has a g/a per 240 minutes to Rice’s per 250 minutes…

Rodri is 27 and Rice is 25... at 25 Rodri was the main man at city where he scored 2 clutch goals against Arsenal and the 2nd goal for that Villa comeback. He has like 7 goals in the prem that season and all were important ones and they won the league by a single point.
