Rhonda Dracoulis Founder and Primary Instructor
RK3 Designs started as a way for Rhonda to showcase her creativity but has blossomed into a way to help others find theirs. Her obsession with painting led her to start refinishing furniture and kitchen cabinets. She found customers wanted a nicer option than laminate but more affordable and customizable than natural stone, which lead her to countertop epoxy! Since then, she’s helped thousands of students, from across the country (and even Canada eh?).

Great detailed info. And I like the way that Kenny shines in this video and Rhonda is his supportive assistant. You can tell that he and Rhonda have done this many times. They work together like a well-oiled machine!
Great stuff!
Question: why the fiber mesh? I've seen you pour straight on the foam board before.
Oh my goodness! Pleeeeese do part 2!! I feel like this was a big cliff hanger!!🤣

You are so sweet. Thank you so much!!!
You are genius and we love RK3!
Love ya!!!
Great video
Thank you!!!
This was another great tutorial. Was a little off with the tracing element to make sure panels matched up with existing out of square and plum wall. More than likely it was me not hearing right. Outside of that very easy to follow. Thank you again
We had some issues uploading some of our content to my editor. The video was a choppy and somewhat hard to follow. I apologize. 😊
What kind of fiberglass mesh you’re using? Is it like a cloth?
Congrats on hitting 50k! Next stop 100k!
I am most likely to be doing this soon (depending on what's in the house I buy). Can this be done cleanly without a track saw. Those things are awesome, but quite pricey. Looking forward to the follow up video! ☮️
Thank you!!! 😊You could use a regular circular saw, use a straight edge (2x4) to run your saw along that edge.
What do you use for a mesh? Would window screening work??
Would love a more detailed tutorial. Especially with the medex inlay for the shower hardware.
Do you have a ball park range of cost of materials for a single panel? Considering doing this for my bath renovation.
You guys are Amazing for sharing this great info. Thanks heaps guys. Would love to see more vids please. Curious as to how to do the floor ive got tiled floor. Im getting ready to do my bathroom just gathering knowledge ATM. Im in Australia otherwise id do your classes.
Thank you!! I’m not a flooring expert. I do know that 90% of the success in flooring is correctly prepping. I would definitely research 😊
@@RK3Designs great thanks for reply looking forward to part 2 could u please show or tell us in part 2 what u guys do on your floors. Love your channel learn so much you are BOTH appreciate 💯💜
Can you basically follow the same process to make a kitchen backsplash?
You bet!
Do you ship to Philippines
❤
What was the PSI of the foam board ? Does it matter !
What's the function of the mesh? I can't think of a reason why this is being used. Thanks!
Can we use regular MDF if we can’t find the Medex MDF?
Yes, but you’ll need to Red Guard (water proofing membrane you roll on). Anywhere there will be moisture.
Would if pass the inspection in a new construction? Have you checked the Building Code?
Yes. We’ve installed these in multiple million dollar new construction homes in San Antonio, Austin and Houston. Never had an issue with passing building code. 😊
Can you use the foam construction panel without the mesh for a backsplash in a kitchen??
We have, but don’t recommend it. The mesh really gives the foam structural integrity, especially if you seam two together.
@@RK3Designs ok thank you 😊
