Rhonda Dracoulis Founder and Primary Instructor
RK3 Designs started as a way for Rhonda to showcase her creativity but has blossomed into a way to help others find theirs. Her obsession with painting led her to start refinishing furniture and kitchen cabinets. She found customers wanted a nicer option than laminate but more affordable and customizable than natural stone, which lead her to countertop epoxy! Since then, she’s helped thousands of students, from across the country (and even Canada eh?).

I know right! LOL!! Thanks for watching!!
This was fabulous. thanks for up loading it. I was blown away the first time I saw this background . I've been hoping you'd put a video out on its build. Now all we need is the colors used🤗
You are so welcome thank you so much for watching!!! 😊😊
Love these panel walls, can you give us a list of color products used? I watched your video and Stone Coat's copy and never saw a list of colors used.
So gorgeous, Thank you
Wow I’m speechless. This is beyond gorgeous and brilliant. Thank you all for sharing all this awesomeness and beautiful art 💗💕💗
You are very welcome!! We had so much fun creating this!!! Thanks for watching!
Absolutely love this! Have done very small epoxy pours but would LOVE to do this as a business here in Virginia! This may be my new retirement career! 😍😍
It’s and awesome business with so many revenue streams. We would love to help your dream come true!! ❤️

Oh mylanta 😱 I am sooooo doing my bathroom shower walls in epoxy now! Its gonna get real interesting working with my hubby who does not hobby anything! He blew me away with his first 2 fluid art pieces so I have faith!!
Awesome!!! You’ll love doing a shower!! It’s really so easy! Have fun with your hubby!!!
Watching you all collaborate was amazing, Rhonda you made me tear up, I know how much this meant to you all. You could hear it in the camaraderie while you were working together.
Thank you! It did!! I love what I do and my friends, they are my heart!!
Love you Rhonda!
Love these colors! How do I find out recipes, or at least colors used?
Ohmygoodness!!!! ❤️ 😍
what colors did you use. I'm still confused with mica, metallics and opaques. Making a countertop for my cottage. It's a small cottage and would like only a small line surrounded by the white marblish colors. may be a little gold also. I love all you do. Great videos.
Can this really be used for a shower wall? Does the waterproof wall panels go behind it or is this it?
Absolutely! We’ve done many showers. The foam board is 100% waterproof. You still have to prep your sub walls as you would if you were going to lay tile. We either use Hardie board or sheet rock and then two coats of Red Guard water proof membrane. Works perfectly!
Can this be done on drywall plaster in a living room? What prep work would the wall require?
I’ve been watching your videos and wondering how you made that backdrop. So beautiful! That’s much more like my style than some of the earthy tones. 😊
Here’s the video. czcams.com/video/kCHnvpZrOLs/video.html
Thank you for the reply, but… did you just send me a link to the video I just finished watching and commented on how much I like it? 🤣
I think you guys are probably going crazy with the busyness of Black Friday sales 😂😂😂
@@danilo352 omg!! I did! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣🤣 Sorry about that. Yes we are going crazy with our Black Friday sale.
6:52 is my fave
What kind of boards did you use, I live in the uk here, and there are all sorts of boards, and I need to get the right one ?
GOOD
Please share what the wire mesh is..... LOVE Stonevoat!!
It’s a fiberglass mesh that comes in a roll. We add it for structural integrity. We sell it on our website. rk3designs.com/products/fiberglass-mesh/
Can i do epoxy direct to pink foam board?
does anybody know what the shelf life is for art coat thanks!!!! if some one can respond real quick because I'm going start my pour in 30 min thanks again !!!
Can this be done after removing super old tile without scraping off all the old grout? It's like 70 yrs old. Also, what do you do with seems?
Yes it sure can be.
How is your momma doing, Rhonda? How are you doing? 🙏🙏 I loved the cling wrap booties!! ❤️😂 So ingenious!! 👏👏 I want to do this on my kid's bedroom walls, but not very practical. If a child is working with nail polish remover on your counters, will a spill damage it??
She’s doing much better today, thank you for asking. It would be pretty expensive to just cover a call IMO, and unfortunately nail polish remover will damage the finish.
@@RK3Designs I'm so glad she is doing better! 🙏 I thought so too. And difficult to refinish. Easier to just paint. Thank you! No nail polish near resin!! 🥰
What was the under coat
Our undercoat from Stonecoat. It’s available on our website www.RK3Designs.com
Very cool. I’m sure that cost a pretty penny. But beautiful
It is so beautiful, but I think that it isn't great as a backdrop as I think it is overwhelming. IMHO. 😊
Why use the mesh?
