- I bought the TRN MT1 for about UDS$5 and what a shock! I couldn't believe my ears how good these sound for such a tiny budget. Hang around to see what I have to say about the TRN MT1, how it stacks up against the Whizzer HE01 and why you should get the KZ EDX instead for EDM.
I have spent more than 15 hours on the MT1 before this review video.

Music arranger and mixing/mastering engineer here 😊✋. I own the KZ ZSN Pros for over 2 1/2 years now, and I just bought the MT1 as my 2nd in-ear monitor for travelling. This review is right on the money. Other reviews saying that the MT1 "has a u-shaped sound" were painfully false 😆. I'd say between balanced and neutral, my ZSN Pro leans a bit on the balanced side while my MT1 leans a bit on the neutral. Soundstage is pretty good too for the price. :) 👍👍

Agree! The nozzles are quite tick.. thing is it is quite heavy to my ears so I go back to qkz ak6 because it is light weight. hey question is there any improvements when you change the cable?
Very mild differences. Might just be placebo honestly. I thought it sounded better with the NICEHCK 16 Core High Purity Copper Cable. Some say it's actually silver plated copper. It just might be. Looks similar to the TRN T2 cable.

Will the Kz zsn pro cable support in TRN MT1? Also the Bluetooth aptx Kz cable..Will it work as a wireless earphone with KZ Bluetooth adapter?

Hi. 🙂 assuming that a non detachable cable is not an issue. How would you compare this to the CCa cst. I personally am old school! 😊 I like listening to music from 70s and 80s mostly, and some oldies but goodies. Which would you recommend between the cst and Mt1. And if you have not tried the cst personally, will the mt1 be good for listening to the type of music I mentioned earlier.

Hi, the cable is a detachable 2 pin. I've not heard the CCA CST. I think it works for oldies as well. Mids are a little thin, but pretty good on details. For USD$5 it's a sure win situation.

Any 2 pin copper cable. I suggest don't spend too much on the MT1.

A foreign friend planned on getting this for me as a birthday from AliExpress he selected the on with no Mic and I asked him to maybe select one with mic and he go mad and call me beggar, greedy and so on I guess he cancelled the order but he also bought me the HiBy FC1 portable USB DAC which is quite expensive he's a good guy and I appreciate him.
Wtf. He bought you an FC1 but called you a greedy beggar instead of spending an extra single dollar for the mic version!?
I am using ED12 as my regualr earphone and it has zero bass ...I am getting an replacement option between EDX and Mt1 . I play PUBG as well. Plz suggest me which one shall I pick.

Love this to bits. MT1 is hundred times better than EDX. I threw my KZ EDX as it's very fatiguing and "shrieky" in my ears.
So jz edx are bad ?
EDX is not bad. Just something that's less preferred for me.
silicone glue 40% surface mod with network resistors then plug into Amp. it is heaven for $5.

I don't have the VK4. But definitely MT1 instead of EDX.

Hi, sorry I don't have the VK4 to make that comparison. The MT1 is well worth the $5 anyway.

No it's not. V shaped tuning with pretty bright signature.
But still is it good for listening to EDM? compared to the EDX?
Yes, definitely.
Was able to order 2 mt1s for a total of $6.42 from their aliexpress store so for that price I wanted to try them anyways.

So how it is compared to EDX?
Personally I like the MT1 a lot more than the EDX. Less fatiguing.

@@BudgetAudioChrono I mean, in comparison. I'm choosing what to buy between the two of them.
EDX has more bass, sharper trebles, more recessed mids, gets incoherent with busier tracks. MT1 has less sub bass, smoother trebles, elevated mids for better vocals, more coherent and keeps it together on busier tracks but does get a bit congested, but still better than EDX.
