Have a black dial and bezel SD1979 on tropic band as per 1521 COSC. Wears comfortably. NH35 movement is accurate and reliable. Not many wear Squale so doesn't look as obvious as black dial black bezel SD1953 is for Rolex. Getting a Marine Nationale strap next to have orange pinstripe match min hand. Found the Engineer strap was bulky. Squale also fit mesh steel strap as well as tropic rubber strap that is less bulky as suits it. Not a bulky dive watch.

These are so popular right now and are getting rave reviews. I’m getting one in blue they’re gorgeous. 👍🇬🇧

These are lovely watches and look the business with the rubber strap or metal.

Mine came yesterday with the thinner rubber strap - I like yours - where can I get one like it? It seems to be the same as the strap on my original 'Arnie'.

I have this watch, when he does the closeup spinning rhe bezel put it in slow motion speed and will see rhere is a gap between bezel number ring and the edges. At first glance is not noticeable, but once light hits on it from a certain angle ir will show. Dirt tends to accumulate. I noticed it on mine one day while charging the lume and saw the gap in the bezel. One can almost see the white portion side of the black top bezel and the gap. I bought it on sale, the seller sent me a sample with a no logo crown, $100 for the watch shipped.

hello, I saw your post on Facebook about fosi n2, and I finally found your CZcams channel. Are you still using fosi n2? I am interested in buying fosi n2. But is it good to use dac + fosi n2? because someone said double amping is not good in terms of sound.

A foreign friend planned on getting this for me as a birthday from AliExpress he selected the on with no Mic and I asked him to maybe select one with mic and he go mad and call me beggar, greedy and so on I guess he cancelled the order but he also bought me the HiBy FC1 portable USB DAC which is quite expensive he's a good guy and I appreciate him.

I also use my CRA's along with spotify in high quality directly from the 3.5 mm port of my phone (no external dac) and these are VERY fun to listen to but maybe a bit fatiguing after a while (maybe its just me) I was wondering about getting a koss kph30i but in my country are almost impossible to get (argentina). How would the sound of the koss compare to this CRAs?

Comparisons with the Tanya aren't unwarranted, looking at the graphs myself. I would say the manufacturer provided measurement isn't that accurate though. In reality both the Tanya and Vesper have large bass boosts. The Tanya has more of a "hill" bass lift, more focused on mid-bass and rolling off in the sub-bass; Vesper doesn't roll off in the sub-bass, though like the Tanya it gets into the mid-bass and adds weight. The upper mids on Vesper are pushed to a lower level than most IEMs, and like the Tanya rolls off in the highs. So it's easy to listen to like the Tanya, moreso actually since Tanya has more upper mids; but both have a 3k peak, so they are similar like that, Tanya is just higher. I think people would find the Vesper kind of dark sounding, where the Tanya really isn't outside the highs. Tanya needs some EQ though, to control the bass and bring upper mids into a more ordinary level, Vesper you could leave it stock. Good for people looking for very warm, slightly dark tuning.

the overhang looks a bit excessive on your wrist. The Addiesdive tuna homage seems to fit your wrist much better. I ordered this in blue, but I am a bit unsure how the Steeldive logo will look. If it was grey and smaller it would be great.

I had the same problem getting the bracelet off. Had to rip it off with pliers and of course scratched the watch. The case back etching was sharp. Had to file it down because it scratched my wrist. They should fix these two issues.

I like it and your review is informative, but the lume lasting 30 - 60 secs is not demonstrative of long lasting lume, albeit the initial burst is good

The Squale has that giant logo on the case that makes it look like an Invicta so in my mind this one actually looks better than the original. The only thing stopping me from getting a SteelDive is the fact that every single review seems to have some kind of QC issues. Maybe I'm crazy, but for 150 USD I'd want my bezel to be aligned. For the same price I can buy a mobile phone where the parts tolerances are measured in nanometers.
