Adelaide is awesome. Highly underrated and some of the nicest and friendliest people on the planet. I’d pack my bags and leave the U.S. behind in a heartbeat to live there if I could.
Adelaide is AWESOME! I wish we could have spent more time there... and I hear what you're saying hahaha! If it was easy we'd be headed for Australia too!!
It's interesting seeing my city from a visitor's perspective.
You’re lucky to live there! Adelaide is a fun city, hoping to make it back and explore more of the region one day! 😃
You had us at chocolate! The time-lapse chewing though. 🤣 "Fossils & stuff" AND bats??? Super cool! We always enjoy your videos - thanks guys!
Hahaha you guys wouldve been there all day if I didn't speed it up!! Thanks so much guys! We need to do some catch up on yours!
Girl your voice is so nice!! I bet you’re a good singer ✨🥰 it’s so clear and full! Love this vlog!
Aww thank you!! That’s so nice of you!
I always think it’s so raspy and never sing. 😭 Maybe I should!!
I love your video, it's inspiring, beautiful and put me in a good mood. Your video has the effect of igniting the wanderlust inside us, inspiring us, and encouraging us to start doing something new with our lives. That is why I decided to write this........
Wow that means so much to us!!! Thank you for your very kind comment!
Hope you get out there and achieve your wanderlust dreams!!
I’ve been in Adelaide. I miss there sooo much!!
It’s an awesome little city!! When did you go??
Wow quite a nice walk thru, the museum at the Adelaide University is amazing. The amount of Aboriginal Artifacts is awesome... as primitive as they have been : very artistic, and looks like they put a lot of thought, to create weapons or hunting tools.. Thanks very much for this Adventure, quite educational. 👦🏻👍🏻🏢🏩🏨🏰
We loved that museum! Totally agree, the aboriginal and Asia/pacific collections were amazing! If you ever get the chance to visit the museum is huge! Only a couple shots made it into the video! Lol
Primitive???
@@franceslock1662 No metallurgy. No metal tools or metal weapons. They were still mostly stone aged people, flint, arrow 🏹 Poison Darts. Sword were introduced by Spanish Conquistadores. That's primitive compared to Europeans, or Asian
@@ChasingDifferentAdventures and yet their land management and knowledge were far superior to their European colonisers.
Great vlog!
Thank you so much!! 😃
Malls balls 😂. The art is actually pretty neat! -S
Loved the art… and the nicknames for it!! 😆
Loved your guys video! You guys missed out on seeing the Mortlock Chamber in the State Library though, gives off harry potter vibes. You guys actually walked passed it at 8:33 that big building behind you.
I just googled it and I am so bummed we didn’t go!! I didn’t know it was there!! Next time we visit I’ll be sure to check it out.
also thank you so much for watching! We’re so happy you enjoyed the video!
Fun fact, Rundle mall was the first CBD road to be paved into a pedestrian mall in Australia.
Had no idea!! That’s so cool, thanks for sharing!! 😃
yes it beautiful city
It was a lot of fun!! Thanks for watching!
Craaaaaaazy statues. Piggy statue? 🐷😁
Isn’t it cute!!! Lol
Nice views
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed them! 😃
Should have connected you to this amazing musician in Adelaide, Heather Frahn. Just. Amazing.
Aww we would’ve loved that!! Next time!!
I love your vedio, take care always😊
Thank you so much! You do the same!!
@@IfWeGoTo your welcome! Yeah
Adelaide is awesome 😊
We very much enjoyed exploring it!! I hope we make it back some day!!
Do you live there??
& Thanks so much for watching!
@@IfWeGoTo yes we live in Adelaide. It's a great city. Everything is so affordable.
Ah awesome!! We definitely found it to be one of the more affordable spots in Australia too… and it had great food! 😋
Adelaide city. Is a bit slow during winter🥶. But there is heaps too do during the festival season. January-April.
Yeah it was definitely slow when we went in the fall too! I’d love to visit some of their festivals! Do you have a favorite?
@@IfWeGoTo The Fringe Festival is the biggest. But WomAdelaide is great if you or you're viewers ever get the chance to check it out. ✌️
Ahh thank you!! I’m going to google both and read up on them! 😃 definitely want to revisit Australia one day, preferably when we can drive around the country and really get off the beaten path!
Can’t believe the museum was free. Knew the turtle’s head was getting bit off first.
You would love it there!! Most of Australia’s museums and art galleries are free, at least the govt owned ones!
Alan isn’t that cruel! Lol
❤ ❤
Thank you!!
Life is always better when it involves chocolate
Amen to that!!! Lol
Thank you
Thanks for watching!! 🤗
Nice video
Thank you!! We’re so happy you enjoyed!
MMM, chocolate! Looks like a fun day! I thought you were back in the US.
It was a blast!! We did make it back in the US and now we’ve made it to Mexico, but I’ve had to play some catch up on videos!! 😅
@@IfWeGoTo the travel continues! 😁
Indeed!!! Looking forward to covid (hopefully) eventually dying down!!
High end shopping, king William road or Unley road, birside shopping centre.
We must have missed it!!! Thank you! 😃
The reason why it's so cold is because July (assuming that's about when you did the video) is the middle of winter, summer can get up to the 40's. Hindley street pedantic fact is pronounced as in Hind leg
Yes!! We were there in May after driving from Melbourne. By then it had gotten so chilly, but the fall colors were pretty! :) didn’t know it go so hot there though! I shouldn’t be surprised!
Hahaha, I wouldn’t have guess that for the pronunciation! Guess that’s why we never were able to mail the Aussie accent, even after being there over a year! lol
Hi Guys... just curious. On what month in 2022 were you both doing the trip ? Btw, we are planning to go the same route in the next August 2023 😇 which winter time for Australia
Hi!! We did the great ocean road and Adelaide from mid-April to mid-May of 2021! So it may be a be more crowded now that things are totally open!
Hope you have an amazing trip and a safe drive! It’s really beautiful!
If you have any questions or anything don’t hesitate to reach out! 😃
So beautiful
Thank you!! :) hope you’re well!
@@IfWeGoTo I am ok I am lockdown in Sydney
Oh yeah, I heard you guys were! How’s it going there? I feel like we left like a week before everything started to shut down!
@@IfWeGoTo I am up and down I can’t work and can’t fun I sad alone
Hopefully you guys get it under control and reopen soon 🙏
Should have gone to Cleland wildlife park!
We would have loved that!!! I wish I’d known about it!
Next time we visit Oz we’ll have to make the trip out! We missed kangaroo island too! 😢
I live in Adelaide and I'm embarrassed you went to the train station lol. Although it does look alot cleaner in your video. I hope you enjoyed the city anyway.
Why is that?? There was a bit of construction but I thought it was pretty nice! lol.
If it makes you feel any better we went in Melbourne too 😂
@@IfWeGoTo Adelaide train station isn't normally at it's cleanest, whenever I've been there. I used to live in Melbourne, did you get to the Gaol?
@@TheGhostGirlBubgenne I guess we got lucky! lol.
We didn't make it to the Gaol! Is It worth a visit? We definitely want to head back to Aus one of these days and see a few of the things that we missed!
@@IfWeGoTo Yes, definitely the Gaol, if you like a bit of history. The Barossa Valley too, if you you like wine. Have you watched Unjaded Jade's Aus Vlogs? I haven't been to Noosa but her vids made me want to go
@@TheGhostGirlBubgenne I do!! will have to check them out next time! I haven't seen those!
The QLD coast is wonderful. I bet she has some awesome videos on it, will have to check her vids out too! We did a road trip down it just before we started doing the vlogs, though the Noosa/Sunshine Coast/Gold Coast was the only area we missed!!
+++👍🐸🦘++++ADELAIDE+++SOUTH AUSTRALIA🦘+++MY 🐸 "HOME TOWN"+++🤩+++LOVE IT+++
Thank you!!! We loved Adelaide too!! You’re lucky to live there!
👌👏💚🌹
Thank you!!!
👍😎🇦🇺
Thank you!!!
I’ve been to Adelaide; locals avoid Hindley street. You should have gone to some of the many Art Galleries, and also the boutiques on King William Road towards Hyde Park. Henley, Grange and Tennyson beaches are beautiful and family friendly. Glenelg beach is for young singles. The Adelaide Botanical Gardens has free parking on Sundays. It’s easy to be COVID safe in Adelaide because there are so many beautiful outdoor destinations.
We’ll definitely have to check out some of those spots next time!! Thanks so much for the advice! Hopefully someone planning a visit sees it!
Is it possible now to visit Australia now or its still in lockdown ? Not allowed Togo into Australia?
I believe Australia is still closed to foreigners (we entered the country before lockdowns started), but they are probably going to be opening soon because their vaccination rates are reaching really high levels.
@@IfWeGoTo ♥️♥️♥️🫂🫂🫂 sounds good soon enough
@@IfWeGoTo I see that I might go to 🇮🇪 Ireland instead;)
Ireland is beautiful too! I think they’re completely open right now too! If you can I highly recommend renting a car there!
@@IfWeGoTo thanks so much 💝♥️💝♥️👍
Adelaide seems interesting it must be cold (for you) there.
It was very different from the other Australian cities we had visited!! lol
Was cold, luckily we've moved on to a much warmer destination! ;)
I like your video tour is explanatory
Video from Adelaide Central Market will be appreciated
Furthermore how many universities are in Adelaide and how close they're to each other ?
Glad you liked it!
We do have the Adelaide central market video up now, did the link to it work? If not it’s on our main page! :)
As far as the universities go, I know there are 3 public ones. Flinders, university of Adelaide, and university of south Australia. I think they’re all in the heart of Adelaide. There are more schools too though!
Hope u enjoyed yor stay . .
We loved it! Miss Australia a ton already! Thanks so much!
@@IfWeGoTo thanks for yor reply, hope your all well . . take care & keep safe . !
Anytime!! We love chatting with you guys! :)
You do the same!!
I recognise the thumbnail location
It's definitely an iconic Adelaide spot!! :D
Hello brandi and alan how are yall. I messaged you both about 4times I heard nothing I hope you both are ok
So sorry, we haven’t seen any messages, but we have been VERY busy, so apologies if we missed them!
How are you feeling? Merciful. Proceeds to bite off frog's head. 😁👌🏽🌍
It’s the less painful way to go…. 😂
I'm from Saudi Arabia wish to live in Adelaide someday 🫂😭💞
Hope you are able to! What part of Saudi Arabia are you from? We really want to visit your country one day!
@@IfWeGoTo Eastern part😂😂😂😂♥️ Dammam and Khobar .. you are both more than welcome 🫂🇸🇦 yes there's a tourist visa now
@@IfWeGoTo Eastern Province 😂👍
@@IfWeGoTo thanks a lot 💞💝
@@IfWeGoTo if you planning someday I recommend you to visit Khobar is much more nicer than Dammam eventho they are close to each other and as well in West of Saudi there's Jeddah more Liberal city than Dammam and Khobar try to avoid the The capital, Riyadh CRAZY and barbarity and Savages pple there 😂👌😂👌
the best time to go to Haigh's is Easter when they have chocolate eggs etc. Those are really good. I wouldn't buy their regular individual chocolates. Not worth it.
Oh that would have been awesome to try!!!
Nice job of the video not over the top but infomative😅
Thank you!! Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏😊
The City name is South Australia
The state??
Where's 🚊 trams? I like trams I see no trams🫂😂 I know Adelaide has a lot of trams
I think there were a couple of trams! We were avoiding public transit whenever possible at the time because of covid though!
@@IfWeGoTo thanks again you did such a good job 👌👌👍👍 love it.
1) Walked out from mawson lakes train stn to campus at night. Had some1 threw an egg from a car and hit me so hard that I thought I got sh0t.
2) Walking back from a jog at night. This hippy in a broken old car accused me of burglary. Had 4-5 lots of white tr@sh turned up on my doorstep.
Glad you are ok. 💕
Those aboriginal articles should be returned to the people they were stolen from.
I really don't mean this reply to be taken as any form of pushback, but how do we know they were stolen? Is there anywhere I could read about that? I had no idea...
Lived there for almost 5 years, from Singapore. Don't r3commend this place to any non white international students. Had 2 m@jor incidents happened to me.
Lived there for almost 5 years, from Singapore. Don't recommend this place to any non white international students. Had 2 major incidents happened to me.
So sorry you experienced this!! Wouldn’t have expected that in Adelaide, it seemed like there was pretty good diversity there… though I will say it was the only place in Australia where we had any sort of confrontation.
Adelaide sucks to live in
Not to knock on Adelaide because we did enjoy it for a few days as tourists, but I could definitely see where you're coming from!!! lol
On the upside, it has some of the better food we tried while in Australia! lol
Adelaide has a lot going for it. Exceptional wine regions and beaches, also not crazily expensive like other cities
how about perth or brisbane? where do u live
The wine vineyards were gorgeous to drive through, and it was definitely cheaper!
We visited Brisbane, also was a cheaper location. More of a big city feel than Adelaide for sure. Had some of the best food we’d ever had too.
Can’t speak on Perth though, we didn’t get to go! I’ve heard it’s expensive!
I am going to study abroad in Adelaide from 2024 to 2025 and this video helped me understand how pretty the city is
So happy it helped you understand, I am sure you will have a wonderful time! Good luck in your studies!!
Same here I’m going to be there to study abroad around the same time too😮 and this video made me excited to be there even more ❤
